Can't fault them at all, an absolute steal
Genuinely blown away by these earphones. I had RHA T20i's before this (originally cost me 3x as much), and for the all the detail they had, and verging on insane build quality, i realised i also found them insanely boring to listen to (slightly better through a macbook pro or amp - but i bought them for portability). These on the other hand retain the detail, but with a much fuller low end - but not one that overstates itself. The texture and detail in the bass is great - my daily drivers are FAD Pandora Hope VIs and right now i feel like the the e80s even pull out a bit of detail in the lows that the pandoras miss. Listening yesterday i found myself focused on the bass guitar lines, and just how real to life the tone felt. They're also capable of going as low and rumbling as you could want. Just make sure you get a good seal! They are quite bright on the top end, but i prefer that personally. The mids sound just incredible at times - plenty of air, soundstage and the rest. Without doubt the best in-ears i've ever heard. Build quality seems perfectly fine, they're quite unassuming all in all. So many earbuds to choose from in the box plus the comply tips (x3 - i personally am not a fan, they make sound too closed in to me but know plenty like them). Anyone looking for something that lets them get into audiophile territory at a, to be honest, steal, will be very happy with these. I'm scoping out some monoprice planar 1060s next, i'm really liking this coming approach of making outstanding audio products at a fraction of the competition mainstays, the market needs it! Maybe soundmagic should turn their hand in that direction too :D

Definitely not SOUNDMAGIC!
Ahh SoundMAGIC, there's a blast from the past, before chifi became popular these were doing superb quality Earphones and Headphones. Priced well and always of great quality it was definitely a name to trust if you wanted fantastic sound without having to pay a premium. This is their first new iem for quite a few years. And so it was quite exciting to see what they would come up with. However aside from some lavish packaging which included a big carry case, some silicone and foam tips, 2 Cables, one balanced 2.5mm and one phone cable with 3.5mm plug. A computer cable and shirt clip, everything was a complete let down. Cable felt cheap and tacky, especially the phone one. The ear hooks were absolutely awful and cheap and the earphones themselves felt like something you'd get in a Christmas cracker.... And even the balanced cable and tips we're of a very sub standard quality and certainly not the quality of SoundMAGIC. However interesting to note that these are not advertised anywhere on their official website nor online as a whole. And it's not been updated with anything new since 2020. Which makes me wonder if the Guy who started the company has either sold the name or the company itself because the quality is just not there at all. You would have thought that after all this time and a new product from the company they would make it really really good, but it seems they've spent time on the packaging and forgot about the actual product. But I think the most important thing to note here is that you have to remember these are actually priced rather high, being a shade under £90 and the market is now so competitive under the £100 mark these had to be incredibly good.... But they simply are not and to be honest aren't even competitive under £50 let alone £100. And there are literally so many other names and iems out there nowadays at a fraction of this price that literally blow these away..... Sadly these really have missed the boat. Certainly not worthy of the soundmagic name. Do yourself a favour and do some research and get something else. Avoid these.

Perfect upgrade from the E10s
These were bought as an upgrade from my E10s and firstly I noticed the weightier feel. The build quality is great and they feel durable. I was a fan of the E10 cable so Im glad they chose the same design again which means the cables don't get in knots like apple earbuds do. As a Sound Engineer I can say these are clear and bright but maybe a little too bright at first on the ear. They are fairly flat with enough bass as to not overpower or be muddy. You do get used to how much clearer these are compared to lower end earphones and the brightness does tamed as they break in. The included case is brilliant and I use it all the time when taking my headphones out. Making sure to coil them so I don't damage the cable. I have experienced no damage whatsoever to the finish of these and the design of the 45 degree jack plug is a lot sturdier than the E10s. I'm glad I made the upgrade. 4* as the treble could be a little less aggressive.

Class act, modestly priced.
As a music lover of a range of genres, from jazz to classical, rock to blues, funk to punk, I've gone through a range of head and earphones. I'm not an audiophile, but read reviews of the high end stuff and owned a few high end bits too. However, having just taken delivery of these Soundmagic E80s I have two words to say... Good God. I've gone through a pair of E10s which were great, but with 2years of a battering they had to give up the ghost at some point. We'll see how the E80's construction stands the test of time, but as for sound they are surely in the top of their league at this price point. The clarity across the range of frequencies to me is astonishing. The top end is crisp without being irritating, the bottom is well defined without being overwhelming. The middle is impactful without being to pushy even at high volumes. Frankly, I have never heard £60 earphones sound as if they cost treble the price. Thank you Soundmagic. Great job!

I was looking for another model from the SoundMAGIC range, but came across these headphones. If you are looking for some 3.5 mm plug earphones and are concerned about the quality of sound, but don't want to spend a vast amounts of money, these earphones are for you! I have been using them for a few days now and they have become my daily use earphones. The come with an excellent carry case. I little large, but very robust! Audiophiles on a budget, these are an excellent choice for you!

These are by far the best IEMs I've used to this date. Sound quality is wonderfully articulate and balanced, and they lasted 2 and a half years before I accidentally killed them with my dryer. I'm debating if there's any reason I shouldn't buy another pair. Sound: This will vary depending on your fit. I found these headphones to have a very balanced and somewhat analytical signature with rich mids. Highs are very clear and separated with little sibilance. Mid-bass is slightly boosted in a pleasant way, but sub bass is slightly anemic. Soundstage and imaging is very good for an IEM, I'd say even better than the ATh-M50x. The balance is somewhat reminiscent of my HD598, but with more treble extension. Design and features: These are very well-designed headphones for the price. Comfort is quite good, although the casing can be a little wide if you have small ears - they aren't the most comfortable I've used, just good. The cable is covered in a durable, knot-resistant material (it will still tangle, but not as badly as a rubber-coated wire), and the headphones and jack are made from milled aluminum. This pair doesn't come with a controller for Android/iOS, which would a nice addition, but I didn't think it was worth paying an extra $30 for the C version. They come with a nice protective case and a huge choice of tips - more than I've received with any other IEM. Durability: These lasted over 2 years and survived multiple trips through the washer with no ill effects. During my time owning them, the wires never frayed or knotted, the earbuds never fell apart, and the jack never separated from the wire despite regular tugging on the cable. I've never been able to keep a pair of IEMs for anywhere near that long, so I give the highest marks to these for durability. Overall, I can't recommend these enough. I'm nervous to buy anything else and risk getting an inferior headphone - that's how good these are.

The headphones are not working. Pure garbage. The right speaker was not the same as the left by manufacturer. The right speaker was sounded like a 1 usd headphone 🎧 from China alibaba. I received Damaged headphones. The product is piece of crap don't buy it. I got refunded. Better go with E80C
