Very tasty
I like rice balls with umeboshi paste in center. If I feel a little down I eat a couple for breakfast gets me thru the day.

Good. Umeboshi as I've had it. More sour then the fruits I'm used to, but it is a paste.

Pickled plum if you can't get any
I fell in love with umeboshi when I visited Japan, but it's hard to find in the States. I've tried a few other types but this one is the closest to the flavor I'm looking for. The ingredients are very clean, with minimal additions.I give this four stars because the flavor isn't perfect. It doesn't have the same subtle sweetness real fresh umeboshi does and the saltiness is cranked up. If you're looking for umeboshi and can't get anything else though I'd still recommend this. It can sit in the fridge forever and stay good.

Umeboshi are known for natural gut balance. Thus product is natural.. just Shiso/ Perilla leaves and salt. Perfect.Easy squeeze bag.

Delightful
Don’t complain about this if you have no idea what it is supposed to be! IYKYK! Quality is fantastic, excellent taste and great value since a tiny amount goes a long way. This packs a lot of flavor into a small bite, so if you’re trying it for the first time start slow and be ready to fall in love!

Great but very intense!
I bought this paste for filling in my rice balls. The flavor of this brand is much saltier compared to whole plums that I usually get. Use sparingly until you know what to expect!
