Good Series
This is a good book, my two year old daughter enjoys it. The National Geographic book series is very good with lots of great pictures and a few teaching points and scientific facts. I will buy more books like this for sure.

It’s not for 3-5 year olds
This is a cute board book. I bought it for my grandson’s 4th birthday. After receiving it, it is more appropriate for my 1 year old grandson. It is very basic, each page has one or two sentences. Not the educational book I was thinking it was. Description says for 3-5 years olds. I disagree.

Not what I thought would be
Good quality and beautiful pictures. However the plot is inconsistent. I thought it will be the illustration of growing a plant from seed, but that story is interrupted every second page with something else.

Garden skills learning
This book is great for kids 3-6. NG captures nature with clear and concise pictures. Intro to teaching garden skills.

Not as good as other books in this series
I have the bird book from this series and found it brilliant for my toddler. This book was a little disappointing, perhaps aimed at an older child than the bird book (which seems odd). However, in its favour it the diversity of the characters used, and use of real photographs. It doesn’t really tell you much about a lot of plants.

Garbage
Worst book ever. National geographic should be embarrassed. Explains nothing about plants or gardening. Just repeats watch your garden grow through the whole book. And the information is wrong. It’s absolutely ridiculous. Shame to spend any money on this garbage.
