A very nice oil blend from a great brand
As a 47-year-old lady, I am anticipating coming into the peri-menopause so thought this may be a useful oil to have seeing as it claims to be a 'support' for it.I have many oil diffusers at home so was excited to try this out upon arrival. I have also used the Tissarand brand before and have always found their oils to be of fantastic quality. Back in the day, I used to be very interested in essential oils and understand they do have very valuable properties that can have a mental as well as physical effects on the body. This blend seemed like a perfect combination for a positive effect on the mind, body and emotions. The blend uses a combination of geranium, rose, and clary sage. I added about 10-15 drops into filtered water and set my diffuser going. The immediate scent I picked up on was the rose, which was very favourable to me as it is one of my faves and always seems to bring me great comfort. My husband and son both commented on how nice it smelled when they walked into the room.I found after a while, the smell faded somewhat, but that could just be down to getting 'nose blind' to the smell.I do tend to top it up and repeat most days and it is most definitely lovely but do I actually believe this would help with physical hormones? I'm not too sure. I mean, yes, it certainly does help to have a calming scent to make you feel emotionally at ease, but if it was a choice between using something to balance me out medically over a pleasant scent, I'd choose to change my hormones and use this as a relaxant on top.All in all, a lovely oil blend from a very trusted company that will give nice support when you are feeling the effects of that nasty old perimeno/menopause or just need a mood boost. 4/5

Scent grows on you
I’m a huge fan of the Tisserand brand and their products and regularly use many of their oils and feel they’re beneficial to me. All the oils I’ve tried are good quality and the brand makes a point of being ethical, British, natural and vegan. This oil is for your diffuser but I suppose there’s nothing to stop you from just using it as a smelling oil. A few drops in your diffuser is enough to lightly scent your room and feel the benefits of the oil. This oil is a mix of Rose, Clary Sage & Geranium and it’s quite a powerful scent. On first sniff, I wasn’t sure I liked it. Okay, I was sure I didn’t like it. But as time’s gone on, it’s grown on me and I actually quite like it now. Enough to move it up from its original 4 stars to 5. I seek out the smell now like it gives me comfort. This blend is specifically for Women’s Wellbeing - the menstruation cycle and the varying stages of menopause. Apparently three quarters of the women surveyed said that they felt more settled emotions after using the blend for 2 weeks. I wouldn’t say that I’m there yet - but I’ll persevere as using the blend certainly can’t hurt. It’s perhaps not my favourite scent and it’s not as handy for me, personally, as one of the pulse point roller balls or simple essential oils - but it’s still a great product for a great price. And it’s great that there’s a product specifically designed to helping women and women’s issues.
