The Saris MHS rack could be a great product, but getting replacement parts is way too difficult. The ratcheting mechanism wears out fast, and when the teeth wear down in the are you’re forced to buy an entire new arm — which cost me about $85 shipped. The crazy part is the rachet mechanism in the arm could be replaced but they don't sell it seperate. At the time of writing this, the arms are not available on their site and require you to email them. The rack itself is solid and heavy, clearly built to last, but it’s disappointing that it isn’t easier to service or repair. If Saris made parts more accessible, this would be a much better product. As it stands, you’re probably better off going with a 1Up rack or something that’s easier to maintain long-term.

The item is ok. But the package came re-taped, missing instructions or paperwork of any kind, boxes inside open with accessories and screws spilled out, some marks and clear signs of usage. It’s very clearly an open box item.
