This little thing is actually incredible. I have a Hatch at home and I ordered this for the week I’d be with family in another state with a toddler running around early in the morning. First of all, it’s tiny and fits in the palm of my hand so I’ll be able to bring it anywhere. Second, I didn’t even charge it before the first use and fully expected it to die throughout the night and it didn’t. The volume is loud and sounds just as good as my Hatch. I fully charged it after the first use and unplugged it before I turned it on for the night. This thing has been going for 12 hours straight. I ordered the purple and I would say that the color definitely does not match the photo. It’s more gray with a tiny hint of lavender. But other than that, I’m highly impressed.

Works great! I love the sound of running water. I runs for several night between charges. Simple, small, compact and easy to use. What’s not to like>

Bought this for a recent trip, and it worked surprisingly well! We use white noise at home to sleep (air filter for adults, white noise machine for kiddos). When we travel, we usually use our phone app to create white noise. We wanted a separate machine, though, so someone could continue using their phone while another person was napping, sleeping in, etc. I bought this model and a different model that was slightly bigger. This one really helped to create a soothing environment in a hotel room and cover up random noises from the room air conditioner, hallway, etc. Everyone slept well! It is tiny, but the sound traveled well when put between two beds. It would probably be even better if you could place it on a shelf or something raised near the beds. Several noise options to choose from which all sounded clear, but we chose the heavy rain option. Very happy with this purchase!

Great sound, was really surprised by the volume and the options. The instructions for the duration you can keep it on is kinda of frustrating, so I wound up not being able to change from 30min, 60min, or continuous and manually turned it off. But other than that its small and compact, with great sound quality and I use it for relaxation and sleep.

Small sound machine that packs a big punch. Helps with sleeping in new places with strange sounds. Love the portability, volume, lightweight, and a variety of sounds. I get about 2 full nights out of it before it needs charged.

This little powerhouse of a sound machine is awesome! It's compact design can travel with you or be used at home. There are several sounds to choose from, as well as plenty of volume. Also it comes in several colors. Best buy ever!

My family and I were long time users of Dohm and Marpac sound machine products (the traditional, mechanical whirring devices that provide white noise for privacy or sleeping). Several years ago we switched to electronic devices (e.g. LectroFan) which were lighter and offered more sound options, but had hardware (like AC adapters) that would break easily or snap off. Finally, because of a relative’s recommendation, we switched to this handheld device by Babelio — it’s a game-changer! It’s comical how large our previous sound machines are in comparison to this tiny device. It provides great adjustable volume settings (it can get quite loud, and also can be set low to almost a whisper) with lots of variety of generic white noises and nature sounds. The packaging is premium and it comes with a USB-A to USB-C cord for power, although this device can hold a charge and work wirelessly for several nights (we’ve never tested the limit, but it seems like it might last most of a week). It also comes with a hand strap that could be used to dangle the device from a stroller or just to secure it better. The cord was satisfying to attach. Very well built product that works as advertised at an affordable price point. Ended up buying a second one because our other kid found the sounds soothing to sleep to. I wish it came with an AC adapter so in older hotels without USB-A ports we wouldn’t have to substitute with a phone charging adapter.

This little tiny (just a touch bigger than a golf ball) noise machine packs a mighty punch! Timer can turn it off or you can set it to run continuously. Volume control - it can go very loud or soft and there are MANY different sounds - white, brown, pink noise or nature sounds, lots of options! Battery lasts quite long. Comes with a start up guide to teach you how to change the sounds. Docked one star because the controls on the underside don’t light up in the dark which can be a little irritating if you’re trying to make adjustments at bedtime or in the middle of the night.

The Babelio Mini is a popular portable white noise machine. It is rechargeable using USB-C, which is a huge advantage over its main competitor in India — ‘Sleep’ by Saregama. Do keep in mind that this Babelio machine has to be charged using a USB-A to USB-C type cable. I wish the volume went a tad higher. It has about 15 levels of volume, with the first 8 being too low to be of any practical use. The White Noise quality is good. You have to cycle through the sequence once and set it to White Noise only once. Thereafter, it remembers your selection and automatically starts in White Noise mode every time. Refer the manual to note the sequence of preset sounds. The battery lasts about two nights, before needing to be recharged. Alternatively, you can choose to keep this permanently plugged in, if you so desire. The main complaint I have with it is the placement of the buttons at the bottom of the device. You have to lift it up, each time, to access the controls. Often, in the middle of the night, I have had to fumble to increase or decrease the volume. As this is round in shape, you can’t tell which button is Up or Down and it can be a pain having to guess and struggle in the dark, when you are half-asleep. I also own the ‘Sleep’ machine from Saregama, which has just a single knob on the top, to turn it ON and to also control the volume. Another drawback is that this Babelio machine can’t be “directed” to face a particular direction. As the speaker is fixed on the top, it emits sound upwards.

Love the item. Been 6 months that I have been using this day and night for my baby. It hasn't given up on us and the volume levels are good. There are different sounds you can choose from and it is very handy, tiny and easy to operate. The charging lasts all night, sometimes two. The white color doesn't get too dirty, if that's your concern. It is slight velvety to touch.

Best white noise machine, my baby loves it. Small ,convenient and clear sound. I lost the old one and ordered another one.

Currently sleep training our 6 month old and this has been a game changer! Small and portable so able to take everywhere. Volume easy to do in the dark as buttons easy to feel. Lasts all night if not plugged in too. Easy to use and value for money. Sleek design and excellent quality. Couldn’t recommend enough - highly recommend for sleep training as drowns out other noise. We’d be lost without it.

After reading all the reviews I was worried this wouldn't last long. But its been so good at helping my little one to sleep. Stays on all night on the white noise sound. Can go for two or 3 nights all night straight b4 I need to even charge it, and charges super fast then back to using. I'm actually going to buy another one as I'm away and forgot my travel sound machine so I'm gutted and desperately need it to make the trip go smoothly.
