Solid performer in the first season / and beyond
I used these broadheads to harvest two deer this year. One was a high lung shot at 15yds and that deer made it about 100 yds which did not surprise me as it was a little keyed up when I took the shot. Decent blood trail once the lungs filled up to the hole. The other was a liver shot at 15yds. That deer only went about 40 yds with a blood trail I could see from my chair.I like the performance but do not consider them any more effective than the Muzzy 3-blades I was shooting before. As far as the accuracy goes they do not shoot to the same POI as my field points but are very consistent when I sight in after putting them on. They also shoot to the same place as the practice heads which is a plus. They were more consistent then the Muzzy heads in my faster crossbow.I did find both used heads with the blades closed but the Grim Reaper website explains that and has a couple of videos showing how the inertia of the blades closes them after they exit the animal. The holes in both deer clearly showed the blades were deployed. In terms of construction they are rather complicated with all the rings etc. but it is a solid design and allows for replacing blades which is a plus as well. NO bands but you have to be willing to deal with small moving parts and razor blades at the same time. The manufacturer does have some good how to videos on their site.No shoulder contact on either deer but there were broken ribs on both sides and the second bolt stuck about an inch into a tree about 20 yds behind the second deer. The head appears undamaged and will be used again with new blades.I am shooting a Horton Storm RDX, Black Eagle Executioner shafts, OmniBrite lighted nocks and Blazer vanes (avg. 451gr) at an estimated 350fpsIn summary this appears to be a solid product and I will keep using them.2020 updateHave used these for several years now and they continue to meet expectations. I have harvested multiple deer and turkeys with consistent performance. Two were recovered two with broken blades, one on a turkey that broke both legs but also one blade. The other on an 8pt that punched through the off shoulder. One blade was bent back to far it would not return to the slot. Still got complete pass through and the other two blades still work.Probably not the choice for heavy boned animals but they work great for medium game.Still shooting the Horton but have switched to Easton XX75 Magnum bolts/Alpha nocks/AAE vanes for a finished weight of 491gr @ 330fps

Clean kills with great durability.
I purchases these for my crossbow as ot shoots around 400fps and my other mechanical broadheads are rated at under 400fps. I have uses Grim Reaper for my compound bow as well. These broadheads are amazing. I shot 3 deer this year with the same broadhead. There are no nicks in the blades, have not needed to sharpen and there has been no bent blades. My arrows shoot strait everytime and my kill distances ramged from 9 yards to 47 yards with no issues. These make a large exit wound. My first kill walked 20 yards and fe over. The longest run was 150 yards and that was downhill the entire way.I purchased a second pack of these to have in case I need but still have all 3 from original pack still.I highly recommend this brand for mechanical and these have been amazing for my Ravin Crossbow.

Killed a few deer this season, happy with results
I have killed three deer with these this season, and recovered each of them. They do fly like a field point, and even come with a practice field point as I recall. However, out of my Barnett Jackal (~295 FPS with these on a Victory X-Bolt with Lumenocks) I have yet to get one pass-through. Each time the arrow stays stuck in the deer, hanging out of the deer as it runs away. I have had a couple of 150-200 yard tracking jobs. The broadhead appears to go through the ribs, then vitals, and then get stuck in the inside of the opposite side rib cage. I believe they have deployed properly every time though. I probably just need a faster bow to get a full pass through, if I even want one.

Didn't open upon entry
Shot a deer at 15yds upon retrieving arrow found that blades never opened.

Very effective broadheads.
I used these to harvest 2 whitetail deer. Both times had complete pass through shots with good blood trail. The only dislike I have with them is that the broadheads were both broken upon impact and are not reusable.

Real deal
These broadheads are the real deal. Got to take my first buck with my crossbow today. Like the box says watch them draw. He might’ve ran 40 50 yards the most. The grim reaper Broadhead broke leg on the way out. Clear through the bone.
