This harness can be a little confusing to put on your pup the first few times but honestly isn't any more confusing than a back hook harness. This harness has made it much easier to lead my pulling dog and has helped correct his behavior regardless of which harness/leash he has on. His leg can sometimes get caught on the wrong side while walking, but nothing that would cause him pain and always a quick fix while walking.It is a bit short but that's likely just due to it's utility as a tool to stop pulling. If you're struggling with a dog that pulls definitely try this before any more extreme options.

Had great hopes for this harness from all the reviews. Making adjustments is not easy and I spend 20 min or so to make it fit. It took my dog 20 seconds to bite through breast strap. He is not into biting through things unless he doesn’t like them. Construction and materials are clearly not suitable for my whippet/lab mix.Didn’t even had a chance to take the harness out for a test walk. Disappointed. Giving 2 stars in hope that harness works for other dogs. Waste of money for mine.

Both of my dogs now have this type of harness and I bought another for my grand-dog. High quality workmanship. Fits even hard to fit dogs like my little beagle mix who has a little more around his middle than he should. Only thing. As with any of these training tools, that is just what they are - a tool to help with dog training. You still must work with your dog and use positive methods of training. You just don't slap this thing on them and expect them to instantly behave.

I was using the Easy Walk harness, which helped with pulling, but I didn't like the pressure put on the front of the legs and the straps were wider. He also seemed to always be stepping over the leash with the chest connection. This seems to fit better and the velvet is nice on the chest strap. He does pull a bit more using the back connection, but I can always use the chest hook if it gets too bad. He is a 30lb puggle, so not too bad to control. Overall, I am happy with this product.

Pretty blown away with how well this works. I’m just a few short sessions in and my Mini Border Heeler is pulling no more. Downright Amazing.

I bought this harness for my escape artist dog. She is shaped something like a football and with every other harness she would do this move where she turns and ducks her head and all of a sudden I am holding the leash and the harness and she is running in the other direction. This is the first harness that has stopped that problem.

The harness is well-rated, and even used by my dog trainer. However, when fitted properly, the strap is very tight under your dog's armpit. This has caused my dog to scratch himself incessantly when I try to walk him and caused him to have rashes under his armpit. I think this may be because my dog has long hair, and this leash is more meant for a short-haired dog. Additionally, when they sent the package, there was some type of weird crud on the outside of the package. I instead used the Ruffwear, front-range harness. Unfortunately, it does not have the no-pull constricting ring, but it does fit more comfortably on my dog. Hopefully a company will put a no-pull constricting ring on a harness that has a similar structure to Ruffwear (hint, hint).
