I have long curly hair, after a wash and detangle I braid it and leave it braided until I take it down or wash it again (2 young kids, no time to style 😞) It retains the moisture from wash to wash. Occasionally I touch up the ends but not really. This product is too heavy to use on dry hair. It’s a decent size, but the price is a little steep for how much I go through. That being said, I’d continue to buy it because the product is amazing. It does have a faint minty smell and it is grainy in texture, but nothing compared to the actual powder or henna.
