Do I have to guess what 1/2 of a scoop is from the scoop included? And guess on the 1/2 water since the measure is for 1/4 cup.

Periogen is used a number of ways, swishing, brushing, and in an oral irrigator. The 1 gram (1/4 teaspoon) scoop was selected as it provided a simplified measurement tool that covers the range of uses. For example, Waterpik irrigators contain 2 cups of water solution so two even scoops of powder works well. When we looked at putting a halfway mark on the scoop for mixing about 1/2 cup of solution, it was too small for most to see so we recommend visually measuring the half way mark. More or less will not be a problem and the cup that is included in the kit is exactly 1/2 cup (4 ounces). Sincerely The Periogen Company

Is the bottle of powder mint or original flavor in this starter set? It shows the original, but says mint in the description.
