Received this unit last week. I first thought it might be used because of the scratches on the control panel. My wife & I both l examined it to see if it had a protective plastic covering but did not see any edges. Emailed TK to complain - They responded almost immediately to ensure the unit did indeed have a protective covering over the control surface. We looked again and it did indeed have a barely perceptible clear plastic covering - Unit was flawless. It came with a hands-free headset mic, charger, shoulder-strap, and carrying case. The quality of the speaker is amazing! Whether the input is voice, mp3, or FM, it is clear and crisp at any volume...And believe me, this unit will project at LOT of volume. It comes fully charged and provides 10+ continuous hours per charge. My born-again Friends and I will use it for outdoor evangelizing and look forward to drawing a crowd to hear the Gospel of God's Grace; the message of Salvation which comes through repenting of our sins and placing our faith in Jesus Christ alone as Lord & Savior...And to God be the Glory!

Works great and to boot it has an input where you can hook up your MP3 player to speak for you if you're not up task. I use it for open air preaching the Gospel of Jesus Christ. It holds a charge for a long time and sounds really clear for the most part. The amplifier is a sliding bazooka style with a low profile that hangs over one shoulder and rests on your opposite hip.The headset is just OK because it is kind of short and you need to position it it just right. It still works really good, but it just could be better in my opinion. I may decide to get a sleeker headset that is of a smaller profile as well. Either way, it's well worth the price. I recommend this one over all the others out there under the $300 price point.

Omg...it's amazing volume...I loved it.

I purchased the VoiceBooster to use with tour groups. It is exactly what I was looking for, particularly out of doors. Plenty loud enough on the bus to be heard all the way to the rear. The unit is light, but solidly made. The round shape fits comfortably under my arm with the shoulder strap. (It can also be slung around the waist, but I bang into things less with it slung across my neck and the unit under my right arm.) The included headset is light and stays in place nicely. One needs to have the mic right against the mouth, which is an advantage, since it does not pick up noise from the immediate area, like people walking past talking, someone hammering, etc. Has a long battery life.

I Purchased six of these. I am very pleased with the purchase. I use it to facilitate outdoor team building activities and It works great for groups up to 80 people. (already tried that) Indoors, in a conference room I have used it to address a group of 120 people and worked very well. In my opinion it is acoustically equalized for voice, it is actually very loud. It works ok for music, just not HiFi sound. Microphone is very confortable. For me to give it five stars will only requiere separate volumes for voice and music. If you turn off the unit and turn it back on the music on the micro SD card will start automatically.

Works well and holds a charge for a very long time. The headset is terribly uncomfortable; buy another headset. It has an extendable sleeve to supposedly increase the reach of sound. I do not recommend using it, as all it does is cause the output to sound tinny and unattractive.

OK I'll admit I was skeptical when I read 12 Hours on a single charge. So out of the box it's fully charged according to the tiny manual so at 8:30AM today I fired it up playing a local radio station *L*O*U*D*, then I went out. I come home at 10:30PM and she's still blaring out music! That's 14 hours and still going strong! And it's *L*O*U*D*. It includes an over-the-ear mike with windscreen, a 3.5mm stereo male to 3.5mm stereo male cable which can be used as an antenna or to hook up an iPod. It's kind of short and not gold plated so I plan to replace that but it's functional. I'm totally delighted with this - it even comes with a storage bag and adjustable carry strap. It's the size of a can of Nana Brown's beans but not so heavy. Two things I find strange is they say to "auto-scan" the FM radio stations but after doing that I don't seem to be able to change frequency except to the channels it found in the scan. I'd prefer to be able to tune in some of the weaker stations that didn't get programmed when I did the scan. The other thing I was surprised to read was they recommend you let the battery do down to DEAD before recharging. I wonder what chemistry that would be?

Excellent unit. We use it in the downtown streets of Vancouver to proclaim the gospel as found in the Bible. Faith in the Lord Jesus Christ, in him alone not of our works but it in his finished work on the cross. Repent and turn to him for the free gift of salvation. Maranatha.

This amplifier is amazing. I do a lot of campfire singing and this allows my acoustic guitar to be amplified as well as the mike. When you are outside your voice and instrument are sometimes lost but with this amplification the sound carries much farther. Great little box.
