I checked the voltage before plugging in my phone. It was spot on. The wires are much longer than needed but there is room to wind them up behind the headlight. Finding a place to mount it was a trick. I used the gap in the upper fork clamp. Had to enlarge the holes in the mounting strap and remove a bit of metal from the tips for it to fit.
