Nice power supply
I bought this to replace a power supply for my Genie garage door opener. It is rated for considerably more power so as expected it's quite a bit larger. I like the fact that it has a screw to attach it to the outlet so it doesn't fall out and has a nice green indicator light so you know when it's on. Its been in service several months and works perfectly.

Works Great For Nest Hello Doorbell
This transformer works great so far. It is putting out 23 volts to my Nest Hello Doorbell. I have it hard wired straight to doorbell with no chime. I did use chime connector though, as suggested by Nest support. Will update at later date hopefully this lasts. It is also slimmer than the ELK trg2440 which would not put out more than 5 volts!

Really thick/bulky
Bought it to powered a RTH6580WF thermostat which required a C wire. Connected 24v outside wires to C and RC as recommended. Thermostat turned on, but none of the features worked (a/c, fan, etc.) so will have to try a different thermostat...It is really thick/bulkyThe light is super bright, so I covered it with electrical tape, because I don't want to see it...When I tightened the retaining screw it turned into the plastic and chewed it up a bit, so doesn't look the nicest now that it has gouges on it, and black electrical tape over the light... but it's in a basement...As long as I can find a thermostat that works with it, I'll be happy since it was pretty cheap.

This is exactly what you want for powering a Ring Doorbell Pro
I got this AC power supply to add an additional Ring Doorbell Pro to my garage side door for additional coverage. There was no method of power at that location prior. This was exactly what I needed to power the Ring, in fact I upgraded my doorbell transformer for my other Ring doorbell pro to a beefy one, and this AC outlet one actually outputs even more power. My other Ring Doorbell Pro now reports “Very Good” voltage at 4082mV+ whereas the “upgraded” hardwired transformer for my existing only reports “Good” voltage at ~3905mV.I have this mounted on the ceiling where my garage door plugs in at and used the attached screw to securely mount it to the outlet.I would recommend this for anyone seeking to add or reliably power a ring doorbell anywhere you do not already have power if you are adding one.

Decent quality power supply at a reasonable price.
I needed a reliable 24V AC power supply for a project and this did the trick. After using this power supply for a few weeks, it seems that the quality is good and it provides reliable, consistent power.

Awesome
Works like a charm. Used it to power my thermostat for a pellet stove. No problems.
