Wonderful and yet precise device physics text
I am a grad student in EE who is currently thoroughly enjoying this device physics textbook. I have read through several such textbooks over the last couple years and really must say that this one gives the most systematic treatment (especially of the approximations being made) that I’ve seen. As a student who is often baffled by some of the conclusions authors come to given the opacity of their assumptions, I really do appreciate that. It is a wonderful book and I’m very glad that I've added it to my bookshelf.

A great book for semiconductor device physics learning and research
I find this book extremely useful when I want to know more details and more explanations. It begins with basic semiconductor physics and then moves to device physics. Anything that is not very apparent is explained well so I never get lost. I like this book because it has advanced topics where you can find a lot about something you may encounter in the research but is not taught in most of the classes or books.
