Can the gun be accessed from inside the purse?

No - the firearm can only be accessed by th vertical zipper on the outside of the purse.... Unless, you put the pistol inside the main compartment of the purse.

Does it have a bad smell on the inside? as some montana bags smell really bad at first

There was no smell associated with the handbag when I received it

Does this womens purse still stands erect when full loaded?

I've not had that problem, but I also don't carry much but a wallet, glasses, a pack of tissues and a phone. I really like this purse. Very well made.
