These skewers are awesome! They are nice and sharp and the metal is substantial enough to hold large chunks of meat and veggies without bending or being flimsy. It came in a nice bag with each skewer having its own rubber tip cap. I’ll be making a lot of kebabs with these.

it gives the needed 1 inch lift that prevents the food from burning. Chicken thighs, drum sticks all cook perfectly without burning. Fool proof way to cook without worrying out food completely getting burnt. A small lift away from the hot grill plate does wonders.

Great product

This is a life saver. It keeps the kabobs from touching and sticking to the grill. Heavy duty construction. Easy to use just place brackets on grill and the place the skewers in the grooves. It is completely metal so you need a oven mitt to turn the skewers because the metal is hot. I just wish it had handles that didn't heat up. But still worth it.

Love these skewers! The size is just right and look like professional tools. They are flat so food doesn’t roll and heavy enough to not bend when stuffed full. I use them mainly for shrimp kabobs. Steak kabobs work well also. The canvas bag keeps them organized and safe.

Very nice skewers at a nice price. PROs: - Stainless steel won’t rust (See Note 1) - Look and feel like quality. No burrs or detects - Sturdy, but not too large for delicate foods. - Nicely shaped handles: Attractive and ergonomic - Nice price when selling for $12 or less OKs: - 1.64 to 1.74mm thick (not 1.8mm) (.064 to .069 inches) - 0.31 inches wide (not .28) - 17 inch length is correct (includes 3.9-inch handle) - The stuff sack I received is 19” long…not too short. - Only 10 skewers (Read the fine print) - The little tip protectors don’t really work. CONs: - The ends are too blunt for small or delicate foods, especially mushrooms. I sharpened them with a bench grinder. - - - Notes - - - Note 1: I tried soaking one in salt water overnight. No rust.

Ordered these specifically for cooking kebobs, where I would prefer to get as much meat/veggie/whatever on the kebob as possible to maximize the amount of food I can make. Have used them 3 times since purchase: Pros: -Do not bend or deform when heated -The looped end isn't overly large or bulky, so it was easy to close the grill lid without moving skewers -Flat design makes it easier to flip all food over consistently without having to adjust individual pieces on the skewer -Flat design makes it REALLY easy to clean off vs. other skewers that opt for a twisting design. -As an eating utensil, they are easy to handle and look nice Cons: -There's a twist about 10 inches down, which prevents food from sliding back and touching your hand when eating (or flipping, I suppose) which is great, but it does detract from the space you can effectively cook on. -The bag is okay, canvas is a bit thin for something that will consistently have pokey bits digging into it and I don't think it'll last long. Overall Rating: 3.5, tending towards 3. They do the job adequately, but if I hadn't planned on using them the day after they arrived, I would have likely sent back for skewers that could easily cook on the whole length. As for using them to plate kebobs, I would definitely use these, but would probably just go with bamboo skewers since they cool off way quicker off the grill.
