Speed Racer Mach V Playset with Exclusive Spridle & Chim Chim Figures

I love this Speed Racer Mach 5 vehicle! It has an opening trunk, pop-up periscope, attachable saw blades, and four jacks that lift the car up just like in the comic and TV series Speed Racer from 1967. There is a robot bird, but no place to store it other than the trunk; and the hood does not open where the engine goes. This car is 1:18 in size, so it is about 11 inches long and it is made of sturdy plastic with rubber wheels. This would make a good set for kids (8 yrs. and over) to play with or as a nice set for collectors of Speed Racer memorabilia. A action figure of Spridle and Chim Chim come with this set and other action figures (such as Speed Racer, Trixie, Pops Racer, and Racer X which are approx. 5 inches in height) are available to buy to go with car set OR you could also buy the figures to go with the 1:18 Speed Racer 35th anniversary die cast metal car or 1:18 Racer X Shooting Star die cast metal car. This Speed Racer Mach 5 car set is from 1999 as is the 5 inch figure that are sold separately. The Speed Racer TV series is from 1967 and the 1:18 die cast metal cars are from 2002 and are sold separately. If you're a Speed Racer fan then you'll love this set. I was an avid Speed Racer fan as a child, and buying this toy made me feel like a kid again, it came with all the things I remember, the auto-jacks, the cutter blades. My only complaint is that the periscope doesn't raise as high as the box says it does, the box shows the periscope going about 2 inches above the cockpit, in reality, it only raises about half an inch from it's casing. Otherwise, it is a perfect toy. 5 stars.

This is a 10/10 original Speed Racer Mach 5, mine came well to brand new, comes with cool accessories, you only get Spridle and chim chim, does not come with speed racer or trixie, those come separately. I recommend doing research to not over pay buy at the right price. I paid $55 for mine, people now sell them for over $80.
