Speckling does its job
Very effective, I use this to patch nail holes in my rental and you can never tell there was a hole to begin with, it looks original. You can tell when it dries because the color turns white.Easy to use, perfect amount of thickness and lightweight. I use a knife each time to apply and smooth over the hole with my finger. Washes off your hands easily.

Works!
I used this to cover nail holes which covers great and tried on two larger indention holes about the size of a nickle in diameter and another the size of a quarter, one deep and one not deep at all. It covered perfectly on one but not the other.. If you have small deep or large holes I would use patch tape for walls and then add this on top of it. The one the size of a nickle was a slight smoosh/hole the size of a nickle and looked pretty rough but it covered perfectly and you would never know there was previously a hole there. It was better then expected (miracle stuff) and looks perfect. The other one covered but by the time I smoothed it and sanded it wasn't working out perfectly. I finally got it to work somewhat but its not perfect but looks okay. I highly recommend this though. It's not dry but a very pasty material and very easy to smooth and when dry sand with a cheap sanding block. The pink cream dries to a white so that's how you know it's dry. Super easy.. I'm a young woman and if I can do it anyone can. It was quick and easy. I was nervous about it. Lol. If You receive a dry or hard product then it's old because mine was super pasty and smoothed out like butter and dried to a true white finish. Paint went on top nicely, no streaks or nothing. You can't even tell where I put it. I forgot where the holes were exactly. Good stuff. I just wish for the larger/deeper hole I would have used patch tape first and then used this on top to smooth out because the one large hole has a little wave (smooshy) because it was so deep but still looks a lot better then before. The other is immaculate. Really happy with it! Great price, easy to use and works.

Did the Job
I got this to patch holes and it actually worked great. He did the job and I’m very pleased with my purchase. I still have some left that I can use even now. It dries quickly and it is not sticky at all.

Wow !
When we moved into our home there was an area of the wall sunken in we hadn't seen before we bought it. I could tell it was a bad repair dyi job from a past owner. I didn't want to make the same mistake I was ready to fill the hole in with wood the metal mess covers and then this over the top. Haha . Well I took the time to read the directions and it said to just keep applying a layer until it dries then another until the hole is filled in. And I didn't need any that other stuff. It's really strong . I loved that it's pink and when it's dry it's white so you don't apply before it's dry and you know that. You literally can't tell a hole was there . And trust me when I undid the last person's work the hole was a good 6×6 inches in two areas ans a couple smaller ones . They had filled. It in with some sort of foam. I left that but took all else off. I wish I'd done b4 and after pictures. You'd be amazed how well this worked. I didn't even have to texture it. Also with all the area I covered I have at least half if not more than the half pint left. The key is to do THIN layers and allow to fully dry before applying the next thing later until the area is fully filled. I can't hardly tell my wall has a blemish . Very impressed.

Great product for interior work and patching cracks and holes.
Used for interior drywall repair. Medium thickness but easy to apply, feather and dries fast. I covered 3/4 inch size holes on very old drywall and was easy to sand.

Very cool
When I bought this I had never done this type of work before, so I looked up some DIY videos on YouTube. Absolutely blown away by how many professionals use DryDex!! Instantly knew I was going to be good to go when seeing this. The fact that it changes color from pink to white when it dries eliminates any and all guess work in that department. There is nothing like having confidence handed to you when you're going at something for the first time and you might be feeling a little unsure. Outstanding DryDex! You make an amazing product that is good for the rookies like me all the way to professionals. I would reccommend this to anyone in need of spackling for home projects.

so buying a big container is a waste. This one is about perfect for anyone not ...
Works really wellSpackling is one of those things that you don't hope to do too often in your home, so buying a big container is a waste. This one is about perfect for anyone not remodeling their home. I love the fact that it is pink and then turns white when it is ready to paint or sand. This also lets me know if parts of the jar are drying out. I make sure to scoop it out such that I don't leave a bunch on the walls that will eventually dry to a crust. It's simple to just stir this stuff up and scoop just the top part.I like to use an old piece of box as a mixing plate. This gets the putty nice and soft. As the directions state, if the area is too large, do a partial fill, then come back and add more on top. Again, the pink to white change helps save since you can just glance to know if you are ready for more. This stuff has the consistency of cupcake frosting and is about as easy to spread. I use a metal putty knife, but if not doing a large job, it works well with fingers too.Lastly, the red lid makes it easy to find, open, and close. I'll be buying this stuff exclusively from now on. I'm already a fan of most DAP products, so this is no surprise.
