Premium Priced Pile of Junk
The mechanism allowing this chair to tilt is 2 slender cheap bolts holding down a small metal stair against a plastic tang. Expect the plastic tab, the bolts, or both to sheer and the chair to no longer hold any position within 1-5 years according to other experiences I've found online. Mine lasted 5 years but I managed to buy it new for half the price, before inflation doubled its "value," so it only ended up being about $75 a year until it died and I still feel completely ripped off. Do yourself a favor and buy a cheap office chair that will last about as long for a fraction of the price because any chair you buy is supposed to become a broken pile in 3-5 years.
