TRQ Gas Fuel Tank 12.7 gal Compatible with 1990-1997 Mazda Miata

Been wanting to install a new tank and sending for my car for a while. Hard to find a tank for my car that is not used. Found out these tanks from the 72-74 b bodies will fit. Great fit. My straps were a bit long from the old tank. Just used some rubber strips and wrapped around the thank to make up for that space. Bought those on Amazon as well. Helps with vibration noise which is an added bonus. My old filler neck worked just fine. Just cleaned it up and reused it. Ordered a replacement sending unit from the same year car that fits the 72-74 b body. Works perfect on my gauge. Just had to add a ground wire which was not hard.. Now I have a new tank on my old car.. Very happy with the fit. Good quality tank from what I can tell.

Quality construction, all steel tank. Check to make sure the vent holes are the same. First one I ordered only had one vent hole and the hole for the pump was too big. Everything swapped over perfectly on this fuel tank.

I had a nasty leak in my rear tank on my 95 f350. This tank fit great with no issues and everywhere else I looked wanted to charge an arm and a leg for shipping to alaska.

It seems like a stupid thing to be excited about, but, for this price, I was half expecting it to show up and be a bare metal galvanized tank with a bunch of dents and scratches. Instead it's got a really high quality paint or powder coat on it. It looks great. I'm doing a big block swap with an entirely new fuel system. So, rather than run the old tank and hope that I got all the sediment and varnish out of it, I decided to grab a new tank.When this arrived, I was pretty surprised by how nice it was. Maybe I'm easy to please, but I really wasn't expecting much for this price point. Here's some pics of how it looked out of the box, installing the fuel pump, and the tank installed my 91 f-body. (My exhaust isn't running back here anymore so I didn't reinstall all the heat shielding)Fuel Pump: If you're upgrading to the Aeromotive 18073 setup, it fits in this tank like a glove.Install: The old tank was a hellacious fight to get out. I had to bend the filler neck and wrestle it out. This one, somehow, like magic, just slide right into place without a fight. The stock straps snugged right up to it.Gas Cap: My stock gas cap will not fit. I don't know if it's because of the paint/coating or what. I don't know what others ended up using, so if you know, let me know.Overall, I'm very happy with the tank. It's pretty good quality for the price.

Arrived fast with no dents. Better value and performance than oem. Went in easy and accepted the factory fittings. No leaks and truck runs smoother without the rust.

Very impressed with this tank. I’ve bought 2 others and they were not this clean and both had filler neck issues. This one comes in a grey finish which held up to being dragged around on the ground and while installing. No sharp edges! Steel baffles and a factory GM gas cap fits!!! Unheard of! This is the only brand I’ll buy going forward.
