Tried germinating the seeds before hand. tried directly into the soil. Tried some in my starter trays. Tried some even in my small hydroponics device. Not a single sprout. Considering the different methods all yeilded no results i believe some bags are filled with non-viable seeds. :(

I planted these seeds a few weeks ago and still have not broken the soil yet.

These seeds are perfect, I started them two years ago and I may even have some asparagus this year!

I made mistakes with my first batch. THey don't like to be transplanted. They like the miture of at least 30% to 40 % sand mixed with broken forest trees bark, cow manure and chicken manure, top soil andcoconut coir. You can check what the company says first. Make sure you have a spot that has lots of sun and shade when it gets hot and the roots go deep and it will be in that spot for 10 to 20 years if done right so i been told. THey dont like the cold keep with a freeze blanket and if in a raised bed keep outside insulated and covered with freeze blanket. Roots go down deep.
