Cars Toon El Materdor Track Set

As someone who arrived at the Cars franchise a little bit late, it is nice that you can still get toys like this from the older films for a decent price. The two vehicles that come with the set are plastic, not die cast, but so far they haven't broken or fallen apart. They are just the right size to be compatible with the die cast version of the cars from the other sets. The bulldozer is a great addition to any collection. The ramp is fun and my three year old played with it over and over. I would recommend this toy to fans of the movie. Even if you don't use the ramp, the vehicles can still be played with separately.The ramp is made of cheap plastic, but it very easy to put together and will not fall apart with regular play. The ramp has a spring that when Mater lands on it, it causes the rose to fold. Pretty neat.

As with the majority of 'Cars' products, the quality is not quite up to the cost. This set comes with a plastic (NOT die cast) 'El Materdor' character and a plastic "Bull-Dozer". The track is very small. Mater is supposed to fly around the track and launch over the Bull-dozer. Our success rate for this is roughly 25%. Most times Mater shoots over the side wall. That said, my son has seen the Cars Toon Mater Tales episode this set is based on, and therefore was very exited to get these characters. He rarely plays with the track but plays with the characters every day. If you have a Cars fanatic, they will probably love this toy.

If you have small children be careful, there are some pieces that can easily break off with regular use. My son uses the "Bull Dozer" separately with his regular Mater and lighting McQueen and "Tips the dozer" like in the movie. This is a nice addition to his other "Cars".

My little one love it because he had the movie so he was love that. Came on time and a good price never seen it in store so good for amazon highly recommend to kids that like cars the movie

If you have a little one that is obsessed with Cars, then this is a perfect gift for them. Easy to put to together and really fun to play with.

This was a great gift and easy to assemble. I loved Materdor and the bull; this was perfect for the price.

My children love this product. From an adult view it isn't as interesting. It continues to be played with.
