DC Collectibles Icons Nightwing Action Figure

I have mostly shied away from the DC Collectibles figures as they are out of scale with the DC Classics, Marvel Legends, and Star Wars Black Series that I normally buy.i heard the DC Icons were the same size as the other figures I collect, Nightwing being one of my favorite characters was my first purchase in this line. Sculpt is beautiful and paint job is very good. Very nice articulation, not too many joints, right at what I consider a good amount. Good selection of accessories.

Must have for all Nightwing fans. The paint apps are great and the sculpting is very neat too. The hair is done nicely with some detail to it. I am very happy with this Nightwing.

I've been looking for a well designed Nightwing figure for years, and this was pretty much what I was looking for. Starting with the posotive aspects, the design is impecable. The attention to detail is amazing and the paint work is better than I expected, even better than what it is shown in the pictures provided here (and that is an odd thing to find!). As an extra detail, the batons fit his hands really well and they are a bit tricky to insert, but it looks like they will stay in placeThere are a couple of negative aspects tho. First, the articulations on neck, shoulders and hips lack a bit of flexibility, and the slightly limit the possibilities of positioning for this figure. Someone confirmed in a previous review that the model is suplied with two copies of the same hand and that the batarang/wing-ding is just one piece and it comes attached to a removable string. All of this is true, and I don't mind having an extra hand in case I lost one, but it wouldn't have hurted to get some other kind of hand... like an extended palm or something. I would have also loved it if the figure had small holsters in the back, like the ones he uses in the comics to keep his batons ready when he is not holding them. In the case of this figure, you either place them in his hands or store them away, but you cannot "equip" him with the escrima sticks while you have other hand models in place.All of this is mostly nitpicking tho. It is overall a great figure, possible the best Nightwing figure released to date, and if this is the quality level of DC's upcoming releases there's gonna be plenty of greatness for us to collect.

Superb articulation and a very nice sculpt. Blue color on my figure is a bit darker than what's pictured on the product page, but I am happy with that. Looks good next to other DC Icons and DC Multiverse figures. Excellent selection of included accessories compared to similarly priced figures. Appears durable in construction.

I took a little bit more than expected to arrive, but the figure is awesome! Great painting, joints and detail overall. New to my top collection already.

My Nightwing came with two right hands for holding his batons which is not what was advertised. Did some research and found that this was mass produced factory error. Spent more than I would've liked on this figure only to be screwed over on the accessories. The figure also has a noticeable chip on the lower abdomen. Extremely disappointed. See photo.
