Really happy with this item. Bought for a monopod and it was a good weight - performance solution. It is really good quality. I do not fit the arm. I used a black anodized panhead metric bolt to replace it, using the O ring from the arm and a second O ring I had to hand to make sure no dust can get into the head. My camera/lens is about 1.7Kg so within the spec of the head and it is really nice in damping out movement as I frame birds with a long (800mm) lens.

Great build quality and superb value for money..

The Neewer GM24 is very small, light and well engineered.I was going to buy the slightly smaller and 30-40gms lighter (which is negligible) Smallrig, for those reasons, and because the main body does look more elegant than the bulkier looking Neewer.However, I went with the Neewer because the reviews were almost unanimously good for it, but not for the Smallrig.I am very glad I chose the Neewer, as it's "fluid" movement is superb, with the tilt being somewhat stiffer than the pan, (understandably), to allow for heavier lenses.The only real issue I have with it, is the overly small locking levers,...which are, however, very cleverly shaped (somewhat like a crescent, for your thumb) so you know exactly which way to tighten or loosen the head. The Smallrig levers seem to be just as small but do not have this excellent feature.I have to say that this is the very first review I have ever written, so that gives some idea of my delight with my new Neewer GM24 mini tripod head!I highly recommend it for travellers, vloggers, Go Pro-ers, or anyone who just wants a very small pan and tilt tripod head.As can be seen in the photos, I am using it for videoing on my kayak. Up until now, I have been using a gorilla-pod type of mini, leg-bending, tripod (with a ball-head, which I hate), clinging onto a full-ish dry-bag near the front of the kayak.From now on, I shall be taking horizontal and smooth, unjerky, fluid videos on my kayak, at last!

Bought to add to a compact lightweight travel tripod for streaming live fitness classes. Controlled via the adjustable handle with a satisfying soft touch chunky grip, the rotate and pivot functions are smooth, deliberate and very satisfying to use.

I use it for our choirs social media and I'm very happy with the camera. Best buy to-date.

The description didn't mention that the top plate is not a standard arca swiss type / size, overall feels cheap.

smooth and small. Used with a spotting scope. Well made. Quick release plate is good quality and locking screws are good quality. I hope it lasts, which it should.

Just getting going with my own content creation and this is great for whacking on a tripod and filming live events. Got a fair amount of Neewer kit and like the rest this doesn’t disappoint especially for the price.

I have had a good time with this thing and just like most neewer products at the midrange price point, it’s punching above its weight in quality.

I use this on my monopod and it’s great. So easy to tweak to an exact spot with my camera without having to angle the whole monopod. If recording video it makes panning so easy.Very easy to remove the camera from the monopod if you want to go hand held. Good quality and a great price.
