Will this gun work for water based poly

We have not use this gun for this purpose but I assume that it will. We fill the gun with solvent after we pain to clean it up and it sprays the solvent just like paint. The gun is a good value for the money.

can you get other spray nozzles for it?

At present, the gun is equipped with only 2.5mm nozzles. If necessary, it will soon be able to supply 1.0mm, 1.8mm, or other size nozzles separately for purchase.

I don't know about additional nozzles, but the one provided does have an adjustable spray pattern.
