This was perfect for our most recent trip, kept my medications cool.

Today we drove two hours to watch our grandsons baseball game. This was a test to see how well this cooler worked before vacation. I purposely left my bag in the sun at the game. After the game I checked my insulin and it was cold. When we got home I used the thermometer and the temp was 8C.

Does exactly what it says

this thing works great, and is very durable. The cooler aspect is better than expected it really does keep my novolog pen cold for a full 48 plus hours and cool even after that. Being clumsy and having dropped this thing more than a few times I can say the unit is pretty solid as far as durability too. would buy again only possible improvement i can think of would be if they made it more compact for easier transport.

Took this from the states to London, flying direct. The cooler stayed in my carry-on, at room temp, no extreme temp variations, unopened, and wasn't cool anymore after ~18 hours. $400 worth of medication ruined.

From my initial test, it will keep items cold for at least 24 hours if kept at room temperature. The glass thermometer is a joke, it's way off on the temperature by about 15C. Size is good for 1 Hulio pen and a small something else.

After the first trip my wife went on after having started using a blood sugar medication and it got hot in the car we bought this. She was on a trip with her sisters and they stopped to shop for of course longer than anticipated and her meds got hot lessening its effect on her bloodsugar and she felt like crap for a few days until she got home and it was time for her weekly dose, which she started from a new package that was in our refrigerator. Now with the medication temperature issue taken care of that will not happen to her again. We have only tried it with one pen of her "O" medication, the included thermometer, an included velour medication pouch and the gel filled icelike cooling pack but that all fit with no problem at all.
