I'm older and live in Maine so winter and I aren't the best of friends at times. After a couple of misses with other electric heating blankets I happened to purchase this one from Bearhug and I'm so grateful that I did. I start off my setting both sides of the bed on setting 4 and this is definitely one of the best features. I add a comforter on top and all through the night I'm nice and warm. When the weather gets colder I'll probably adjust the setting slightly higher, but not much. One of the features that impressed me most was the softness of the blanket itself and also the fact that I can't feel the wires unless I'm actually trying to. I don't trust those other types of blankets that are so thin you can feel the wires and the heating coils instead of enjoying a blanket that's warm.BEARHUG - thank you for a product that lives up to it's name. This blanket is definitely a winner in my opinion.

The controls are great! You can work them pretty easily in the middle of the night because they just require pushing up and down for temp and time. But really, the best thing is that you can set both the heat level and the amount of time you want the heat on. So, you do not wake up too hot because the blanket has been on all night. The blanket itself is super soft. But it does not slip around or fall to one side of the bed. Really nice blanket all around.

Softest blanket I have ever had. Most electric blankets are stiff. Not this one. Beautiful color as well.

UPDATE: Although the blanket still has issues, the company did reach out. They were very kind, courteous, and willing to help make things right.The first electric twin blanket I purchased did not distribute heat evenly and only heated in certain places. I just received the replacement blanket and it’s worse than the first. The top part heats up, but the bottom part is cold. While the blanket is absolutely beautiful and soft, it is most definitely flawed and needs more work to make it a better product. Very disappointed that it doesn’t work properly, especially for the money you spend.

Warms up quickly, light weight and soft beautiful colors

I got this blanket in July 2023. It is now December, and it has stopped working. The blanket is nice, but $60 is a lot of money to spend on an item that will stop working.unfortunately I cannot recommend it.UPDATE: I reached out to customer service regarding the issue that I was having with this blanket, and they were quick to resolve the issue. Because of this, I can now recommend this blanket since the seller has proven to be trusted and quick to fix the problems if they come up.

I enjoy the extra warmth without turning it on, my wife enjoys the settings and that I keeps her warm

My wife and I got this to remember a very old Sunbeam electric blanket. We've metal been happy with this one, it's a much nicer texture than the old one, and gets plenty warm if given enough time.There are three complaints we'd have to level. The first is that once the heating element is turned off, the added heat very quickly leaves. That isn't to say that it's not keeping heart in, the blanket is nice and warm, but that the heat provided by the electric element noticably drops off. The second is that the control units do not retain the last used settings. This means that every night he blanket needs to be changed from low heat for 6 hours to our preferred temperatures. The last complaint is that the lower temperatures tend to feel so slightly warming that they're almost indistinguishable from not having the heating element turned on.

Love it! Soft like velvet on one side, fleecy on the other. Highest heat level I have used is 3, plenty warm. Like that the timer goes to 12 hours.

I absolutely love this blanket. It gets HOT and is super soft and cozy. Unfortunately within a month of getting the blanket it suddenly stopped working and I was devastated. I emailed the Bear Hug customer service and they got back to me within 24 hours and had a new blanket in the mail on its way to me within 48 hours. I have to say this was probably the best customer service experience I have ever had with a company. They hold true to their 5 year guarantee and I couldn’t be happier with my replacement which is identical to the first one I had. Thank you Bear Hug!

I was super happy with my purchase, amazing for the first 2 months. One side doesn't work anymore, burn out. I don't know how I didn't get electrocuted.Do not waste money on this blanket or your life.

This is my 2nd purchase. The reason for purchasing again is because my puppy chewed the wires. Reason for 4 stars is because you cannot purchase the plug in separate.
