I added a few of my own personal touches to make the best detective for my murder mystery dinner with friends!!

I wasn't expecting anything high quality from the get go, but the hat is permanently bent into points at both ends from being folded and smushed into a small box, and I was at least expecting the hat to come in a decent state to be used for a costume. I'm trying to flatten it with weights but it's pretty permanent. I'm an adult woman with an average to small head with flat hair, and this hat just fits me. I wouldn't expect the hat to fit if you have a larger head. Also, in the description, it lists the magnifying glass to be 12inch long which is false, It's 2.75in by 6in. The glasses I received are 5in wide by 5in long, so they're too short for me but enough to make do for a cheap costume for a murder mystery party. Overall though, everything is the quality I expected it to be except the hat being crumpled, so I'm giving it 4 out of 5

Daughter dresses up as Dr. Watson and this set was perfect! Everything fit as expected and she's a teenager. Decent quality for the price. Would buy again.

Lots of people complain about the hat, but it's 100% flax and can be ironed. Note--the bowtie is not adjustable and was enormous on my son. Overall not a bad little set though. . . .

Fun for a 4 year old

I bought this set to be Oppenheimer for Halloween. The hat came in a slender box and the hat was bent completely in half. I figured I could flatten it with books but it’s been a week and it’s still bent in half. I would return it if I could. It looks like a cheap cowboy hat.
