This is my first French press, and I’m really impressed! It’s very easy to use, and I’ve been using it for a little over two weeks without any issues. I like to preheat it with warm water before adding the hot water, and that works perfectly. The build quality feels solid, and the stainless steel design is durable and heat-resistant. The difference in coffee flavor is noticeable compared to other brewing methods. I use high-quality coffee most of the time, but I’ve also tried Dunkin’ grounds, and both taste great in this press. Overall, it’s a well-made product that delivers excellent results. Highly recommended!

Love this press! Looks beautiful with the copper in my kitchen. I leave it out because it's lovely. It works beautifully. I prefer to remove the glass carafe when cleaning and the first time it's a little tight but after that it works just fine. I use 12 oz of water for a large mug and it's the exact capacity I need.

This is my second French press. In comparing the two, this one has a flat top. The other one has a rounded top that tends to hold water when I wash it. I also liked the extra screen that this one came with for replacement purposes. I find this one easier to clean. Although the beaker is very tight when I try to push it out for washing.

We have had the 51 oz copper banded version for a year now. We put it in the dishwasher no problem. It's served us extremely well and still looks beautiful. We're going to replace it with an insulated version because we're home more and want to keep coffee warm for longer, but it's no fault of this beautiful piece of equipment. Gifting it to a friend who admires it when she comes over. Just had to review because things don't impress me that often and it's held up better that 99% of the stuff I've bought.

Update I have bought the newer model because I broke the glass in the original model that I had. The new model has a better screen as well, no more cryings getting through. The external cover is kind of nice for protecting it, but the glass is actually like a millimeter thinner than it used to be. I say this because I no longer have to loosen my old stand in order to stick it inside of the cover I was using beforehand. With that said, the new cover though it offers more protection also allows water to get trapped between the glass and the axle unit itself. Not a big fan of that. It's a great unit and frankly makes solid coffee with no coffee grounds in the drink. I recommend it, but if you have an alternative outer shell, I'd recommend it. If not, make sure and take it out of it in order to dry properly. The glass quality seems decent and overall it doesn't seem too fragile. It works, but the included screens are kinda crap and the top is a finger print magnet. It keeps the grinds down mostly, after ya add all 3 together. Which can cause some grinds to get caught between the screens. I recommend picking up Different screen. You want one with a tighter cross weave pattern. With only one of those it'll do the job and you won't get any grinds getting between the mesh layers, cause you'll only need the one. They also have a small metal ring in the cent. Which makes it less flimsy.

The first item I received was broken, so I have a replacement. I am happy with the capacity, it is good for two people also it is not too heavy. After filtered, there are only few debris in the liquid which is acceptable for me. However, I am a beginner and not a peaky person. There is an extra filter in the box for future replacement. It is also easy to clean, because its glass and transparent. I was worried about if the glass may break when I add the hot water, but it did not happen.

I've been making coffee in this for almost 2 months now, every day, sometimes more than once. Well made, over all. The plunger and screen assembly does feel a bit more thin and delicate than I'd like. But it came with two screens and so far, no issues. The copper color is nice, too. I would, absolutely, but again.

Love it. I use mine to brew loose leaf tea and it works wonderfully, easy to clean. I put all the pieces in the dishwasher except the handle with the frame not sure if the dishwasher would tarnish it and I like how the copper looks.

Un belle cafetière à piston qui fait très bien son boulot. J'apprécie d'avoir des graduations. Je suis cependant un peu déçu que le couvercle soit en plastique malgré un colori qui imite parfaitement le métal des pieds. Ce qui fait qu'en terme de robustesse j'ai quelques doutes sur la longévité de ce couvercle, à voir.
