Stop Looking and Get These. You will not be disappointed.
I cannot say enough about these trays. I took a shot at these when I bought them and have told everyone about them since. If you are making your own baby food, then this is what you need. Seriously!!! 1. Before I even received these, the owner emailed me with directions on how to use them, attach the lid, and cleaning. I was very impressed by this. 2. These trays are very flexible and have held up wonderful from the abuse I have put them through. We purchase two of these trays and I was filling, freezing, popping, cleaning, filling, freezing ..... twice a week. Never once did I have an issue with these trays. 3. Easy to fill. Simply put they are easy 4. Easy to pop out. We did have another product that we used for a week. The reason we use these trays over the other is that the frozen food popped out with very little effort. This is due to the wider sized and flexibility of the silicone. 5. 2.5oz per portion. Perfect size for our baby starting at 4 months. 2 portions for when she got to 6.5 months. 6. Easy to clean and hold up well in dishwasher. Though they do hold up well in the dishwasher, they came clean with just some hot water. 7. Easily stacks on top of each other if you purchase more than one. We loved that we could just designate a shelf in the freezer for these trays. We would stack them on top of each other to minimize the space required. You want them on a flat surface. Note: if you do stack them on top of each other it can take just a little bit longer to freeze the center portions. We never worried about this as I always made the food at night and my morning they were frozen solid and ready to go. (man I cant tell you how easy it is to make your own food.) The lid: The lid is the most unique piece with the product. When placing it on, you want to start with the middle row and make sure the little silicon flaps are under the trays edge. then do the middle of the top and bottom, and then the edge pieces. I also got into the habit of pressing the lid and the tray together on the outside web between the portions to insure the lid was secure. The lid is on but I wouldn't go throwing this around as the lid will come off. The product description states you can write on the lid with a pen. While this is true, We did it once and it did wipe off, then we tried it again and we had issues getting the ballpoint pen to write, then it didn't come off. This wasn't a big deal for us as I usually made enough of one food to fill all the portions of a single tray. You want to get these with the "Wean Green Round 6oz Bowls" The reason is that they are amazing and work really well with the size of the portions of these trays. They also can hold two portions per bowl. Plenty to support your baby growing. See my review on the bowls. I am not affiliated with Kiddo Feedo or with Wean Green, nor did I receive these free in exchange for my review. I am just a dad passionate about amazing products that help to solve an issue and help to make our lives easier and more efficient. I believe it will do the same for you. Does exactly what I need
Does exactly what I wanted it to, and very easy to use/clean. I do wish they made one with bigger portion sizes, but for now this is perfect. It makes it very easy to take family dinner leftovers and prep them for baby food - I just chop finely, add some broth/gravy/water, sometimes add a grain, and fill the tray. And because it's so easy to clean, it's no big deal to pop out the little cubes, wash it out real quick, and immediately refill (the freezer trays I use for breastmilk are awesome, but they are a pain to wash/dry in between batches). Another thing I really like is that even the lid is silicone - which means very safe for baby, flexible (no cracking/chipping), and easy to clean. I also make big batches of oatmeal with spices, fill the tray, and then add some frozen or fresh fruit to each little section. This lets me create a variety of flavors very easily. So in the time it takes me to make one batch of oatmeal, I can prep blueberry, banana, strawberry, or peach oatmeal AT THE SAME TIME and without creating extra dishes to wash (my favorite part). Seriously, it's awesome. Also, I use little glass dishes for daycare that are the perfect size to thaw food from this tray. I put a food cube in the dish the night before, pop on the lid, and it's all set for the next morning. Super easy. And the dishes are oven safe, so there are no worries about steaming/baking the food to reheat it. It's a great little system. I only have one food tray and, other than when I make huge batches, one tray is perfect because it's so easy to empty/clean between batches. The only way it could be better is if it came with a tray for the bottom so it stays flat on top of the mountain of stuff in my freezer, but I just use a dinner plate and that gets the job done.

Perfect product for freezing homemade baby food. I can't imagine how it could be improved upon...
I don't write reviews of all of the many, many products I buy on Amazon, but when one really hits it out of the park I like to do so. Other people's reviews help me tremendously and I feel it is important to return the favor. I chose this product myself after reading information here and on other sites. I paid full price for this product. You might be curious as to why I chose your product vs any of the seemingly similar ones that Amazon carries. Some are purely esthetic reasons and others more practical. I am a new grandmother of a 7 month old baby girl and I am over the moon. My daughter and her husband are both attorneys and work long hours and they asked me if I could help with making food for the baby. I was happy to oblige. I love to cook and they are very supportive of helping the baby learn to enjoy eating all kinds of foods. I have all sorts of equipment in my kitchen that could accomplish making baby food, but not as easily in small quantities. To that end I decided to buy a used BEABA Babycook on eBay to facilitate the process. My kitchen is tiny and to give up any space for yet another appliance takes considerable thought. But the Babycook gets such positive write ups online and in books I decided to give it a try. I love it! Very simple to use and to clean. It turns off itself once the food is cooked and it just rinses clean. I'm thrilled. But I needed a place to put the food I'd just cooked. I have a side by side fridge so the shelves are narrow. I really liked the fact that your lid is also silicone and that each compartment is airtight. Yours also comes in purple, which is my daughter's favorite color. And besides, I like the idea of supporting American products! The Kiddo Feedo is easy to use, and easy to clean. It took me a moment to get the hang of the lid and how to secure it, but once I'd done that the rest was easy. I discovered that my large size cookie dough scoop made filling the compartments easier and I had less wiping around them to do. But one of the best parts is that the frozen tubs of food really do pop right out. I place them in labeled ziploc bags in the freezer to take down to my daughter's home. Even beets didn't stain the bottom or the lid! Wonderful! As the baby is just beginning her adventure into solid foods, one "tub" is enough for two meals, maybe more. As time passes that will change and I will need another Kiddo Feedo. I did consider the OXO Tot Baby Blocks (which my daughter had bought for themselves, unbeknownst to me) but decided it had too many pieces, and that I didn't need to have removable tubs to, say, send to daycare or take on a picnic. She will need that ability, however. I would love it if you would make it in red, my favorite color! One question-you say you can use a ballpoint pen to label and then the label will wash off. I don't know many people who use ballpoint pens. Will a liquid rollerball pen wash off? What about a Sharpie? They are supposed to be permanent but I wonder if the silicone would prevent that permanence. I don't want to use anything that can't be washed off or removed, obviously. Will freezer tape, freezer labels, or scotch tape stick to the lid? I expect to get years' worth of use with this product. While I don't care for silicone bakeware, I might use this to make small cupcakes or such with my granddaughter when she is older. I like the flexibility this offers. Well done! Are you considering making any other products? I hope so.

... this tray along with another tray which also had great reviews on Amazon for comparison
Bought this tray along with another tray which also had great reviews on Amazon for comparison. Its definitely worth to pay few extra bucks for this tray if you only consider the Bottom tray Quality and design. The lid however is questionable. It came ripped on the corner edge and its not worth to send anything back on Amazon these days cause they charge you return shipping fee which makes your refunds almost negligible. The lid is not hard plastic but is soft plastic and it get tough to close it all the way esp when one has liquid in the tray. Long nails makes the lids more suspect able to being ripped. I however loved the bottom tray design. Each container is wide so one can easily put food in them with the regular spoon without any drips. I am not saying that you can't use the regular spoon with the other tray. But with this one its extra easy and clean. Once the food is frozen, it just takes one push and food glides out smoothly. With the other tray, the mouth is little bit smaller and its more cylindrical. The plastic quality is also little flimsy. So its requires more push and pull to glide the food out cause the base rolls over This company's customer service is also commendable. They kept sending me emails to see how I like their product. Not may companies even care about such stuff these days. One of their email reminders actually made me write this review. Overall, I am satisfied the product for the purposes I am using. If you are planning to the keep the food longer in the freezer unlike baby food which is just left overnight, you may need to reconsider the lid issue.

kiddo feedo
to be honest, i was debating between this and the oxo tot blocks for freezing the kids food in portions...and so I bought both. the oxo tot blocks are awesome. but i quickly learned that once the tot block is in the freezer, it'll stay there until the kid eats the food...so I'd need a lot of tot blocks to accomplish my task. the kiddo feedo is genius! the 9 circle portions makes for easy "pop-out" of the frozen food (to put in a labeled ziplock bag), and super easy cleanup with no corners for food to get stuck. i haven't tried freezing all foods yet, but all the foods i've tried so far (apples&blueberries, sweet potatoes, mixed veggies, etc) haven't stuck to the silicone. i haven't stored food long-term in the kiddo feedo cause I'm too excited to start my next batch of food. I have to admit tho, when I first received my kiddo feedo, one of the silicone clips on the cover was missing. i was bummed so I emailed customer service about this and got a response the very next day apologizing and stating that another tray is on its way to me at no cost (and I can use my current tray as an ice cube tray, a finger food tray or a paint palette). like wow! 5 stars for the tray and 5 stars for the awesome customer service!! **8/2015 update** A year later and I still use my kiddo feedo trays (the broken clip one too) at least 2x per month to freeze things in portions. I LOVE them! the silicone hasn't degraded at all, the food (fruits, veggies, chickens, etc) pops out easily, and it cleans so wonderfully. love love love! the only downside that I noticed was that the food in the center compartment doesn't freeze as fast as the other compartments. it may be due to the inefficiencies of my freezer, but to work around that, I pop out the contents of the outer compartments, fill them up with my next batch of food, and put it back in the freezer (no, I don't wash the tray in between freezer batches...sounds gross, I know, but seriously, the food doesn't stick to it, and I'd rather be spending some QT with the kid). I'd recommend the kiddo feedo tray to anyone!

Critical for Making Batches of Baby Food
Excellent food storage container for making baby food at home. We received one as a gift and bought two more since we liked it so much. Having three allowed us to make enough to last a week. We were a bit intimidated about making baby food initially, but wanted to make organic baby food without the preservatives and additives. It actually didn't take too much time -- probably about 30 minutes from start to finish (including set up and clean up) for each by putting the food into a blender. What took time is the prep work. Apples and pears took a bit of time because they had to be peeled, cut, and steamed before putting into the blender. Mangos, ripe avocados, and bananas could just be put in the blender and pureed. We haven't done veggies yet, but we assume it will be similar to the apples and pears. Once frozen, the food could be thawed by putting the food in a small bowl (we use a metal pinch bowl so that the head conducts well) and then putting the bowl in a larger container with hot water from the faucet. 15 minutes later, it's thawed and never too hot. Alternatively, it could be put in the microwave though be careful about making the food too hot if you use the microwave. PROS Silicone container and cover are easy to wash. We hand wash ours but these could just as easily be put into the dishwasher. Frozen food pops out easily by pushing the bottom and can then be kept frozen in other food-containers. Allows for you to mix and variety of foods by creating smaller portions (we did between 1 oz and 2 oz and then would mix apples and bananas, then pears and sweet potato) so that you could put healthy foods with sweeter foods. This allowed us to make combinations that our baby would eat. CONS The cover has little nibs that keep it in place, but it does take a little bit of time to place each nib correctly. (It's not just one you can push down and it will clip.) The silicone for this one is a bit softer than other brands (making them easy to pop out) so after you fill the compartments and are putting them in the freezer, be careful about pushing or holding against the bottom since the food could be pushed out if filled. (We filled only up to 2 oz)

Yes, you should buy these...
I love these freezer trays! I originally bought a freezer tray from a different company with 1 oz cubes, but my son quickly began eating larger portions. These freeze about 2.5 oz., I think, per cube, which provides for a much better portion size for growing babies. At 10 months, my son eats 2 cubes at dinner (and the portion sizes make it easy to mix and match food). These trays make my life easier. I make all my own baby food, but I work full time. This means that I make large batches on the weekend and freeze the food for use all week long. This container freezes baby food without a lot of ice crystals forming on top, which I appreciate. When I first started making baby food, I was using regular ice cube trays and they were very "icy", but these do not have that problem. Also, the cubes pop right out of the trays after about 3 to 5 minutes on the counter (or a quick rinse under hot water in the sink). I will freeze cubes overnight, then transfer the cubes to labeled freezer bags the next morning. Although I think you could store your food in these trays in the freezer if you preferred. I like to put them into bags so I can make more food in the trays! Also, I could see myself using these long after I stop making baby food - -for example, I make fruit puree for the baby in these trays, but those cubes are equally delicious in adult oatmeal. Plus, this would be great for freezing single portion sauces (pesto, marinara, etc.) Finally, the customer service from Kiddo Feedo is outstanding. When you order, you will get an email from the company making sure you are happy. If you have any questions or problems with it, even long after you've purchased it, simply write back to that original email. I had an issue with one of my trays, and the owner of the company got back to me within 24 hours. She sent me a new tray - great customer service. They really seem to care about the customer. Overall, this is one of the best baby-related items I have ordered off of Amazon. Great purchase!

5 stars! Oven safe! Easy to pop out! Includes an eBook for us Mom’s who need a little help when it comes to homemade babyfood.
This is the best thing I could’ve purchased for my son’s babyfood! I just bought it a few days ago and have already used it 4 times! It’s so simple and well made! Buy it and you definitely won’t regret it. You just make baby food and scoop it into the cups. There’s a line to show what 1oz is which is the size I’m using now because my son just started solids but it holds little over 2oz in each cup. The lid securely covers the food when you put it into the freezer. Once my homemade babyfood was frozen, I popped each one of them out and put them into a freezer bag to store for longer period of time. The ease of popping the food out is what made this so amazing. It came out so easy, it wasn’t like an ice cube tray where you get frustrated having to bang it and run water over the back to loosen it up. The eBook you get with this purchase is awesome. It comes with some delicious recipes. I love that this isn’t just a tray to make babyfood. It’s also oven safe for you to use to make muffins or whatever else you want to make! Can’t wait to explore that when my son gets older! I plan to buy this product for all my friends that are pregnant and going the homemade babyfood route.

Me encantó

Fantastic product
I've tried a couple different freezer trays for baby food, and this one is by far my favourite. Really easy to get the cubes out, really easy to wash, and the tray holds more in each cube than any other one I've found. It takes about half a day to freeze fully, so I typically make a bunch of purees and store them in the fridge until my cubes are frozen, then I transfer them to a freezer bag and freeze my next batch of food. Rinse and repeat. Perfect!

So many great features!
There are so many great features to this tray! We have been doing BLW with our baby, now 9 months, so I have made little muffins, quinoa cakes, lentil patties, and have also frozen porridge portions to make mealtimes a little quicker. The silicon is ridiculously soft, yet the tray is super sturdy and doesn't flop all over the place. The lid is a great feature to protect portions in the freezer. Love that the tray has all the details embossed on the silicon - volume measurement and usage instructions. Everything has been considered. I have two trays and have used them 5 times in the first week. Can't wait to use them as little Bento trays for meals when bub is a little better with his pincer grip!
