Works well, great for cold spots in the house
I bought two, one for each end of the house. In winter, those spots do not get comfortably warm, but they are now. One unit has been warming a master bedroom (guesstimate larger than 15 x 15) with its private bath. Bath has ceramic tile floor, still the bathroom is warm, too. The other end of the house is toasty. Easy to use, easy to move. noiseless (not even a little hum), and the amount of heat is more than adequate. The fan does push out heat, but it is not powerful. However, I'm sitting about 6 feet from it and can feel the warm air moving. (FYI, the auto shut-off has not kicked in, so I don't know if it's able to 'do its thing.') Bottom line, recommend without reservation.

The best dang heaters out there!
A milkhouse style heater is simply the best heater out there. I have tried the cute ones and the big ones and the small ones, and tall ones, they all pale in comparison to a good milkhouse heater. These babies are safe, they turn off if they tip, get bumped, get too hot, and if you just turn them off. They give off lots of heat, have a good blower fan, nice thermostat so you can set it to go on when needed. I have one in the bathroom and love it because you can count on it to keep you at the perfect temperature while soaking in the tub, you don't have to worry about touching it when wet, just set it to the temperature that makes you happy and it will turn off and on to keep the room perfect. They also seem to last forever, I get at least ten years out of one. I've even bought some at yard sales and had them run for years more (never figured out why people were selling them).

Great little heaters!
This is my third Milkhouse heater. They tend to last me about two years, but even that is a bargain. I've tried other small heaters for the cold spaces in my home, and they don't last nearly as long or work as well. I'll stick with these. The main difference between this one and the one it replaced is just how quiet the new one is! I wasn't even sure it was running until I felt the heat.

Overall Very Good Quality and Almost Everything I Wanted
I bought 5 of these heaters. The most significant quality of this particular heater is the safety switch in the bottom of the enclosure. This is a good thing, but pay attention to it. It is far better than the tilt switch on similar heaters I have bought that have a plastic arm on the tilt switch weight that melts, prevents the heater from turning on and renders the heater useless unless you bypass it and that renders it unsafe. You CANNOT get repair parts for any of these heaters, either. The downside is that you must have it sitting on a flat surface. I had one sitting on an uneven surface. The switch engaged initially, but later on, vibrated away from the high point it was on and the heater shut off. Make sure it is sitting on a flat surface. There one disappointment. I have owned MANY different makes and models of this type of milk house heater. The fans in these don't move air as vigorously as the models I replaced them with. That's important because it doesn't circulate heat as well and shuts down before it warms the whole area. The thermostat is a LOT better quality and more accurate than other mfrs and shuts down at a lower temperature. It has a "freeze" setting at 40 degrees marked on the panel. You can set it at this temperature and trust it will come on accurately and unattended to heat an area to prevent freezing. I have some heaters that don't shut down below like 60 degrees. This overheats my storage areas needlessly and eats up a lot of power. So far, I'm very satisfied with the heaters, but would be happier with higher velocity fans.

HEATER NOT AS PICTURED!!!!
This heater works well & warms small rooms, such as a bathroom, very quickly. However, the heater I received is not as depicted in the ad, it has a metal handle & grill guards in lieu of the handle & guards depicted in the ad. It also does NOT have the safety alarm light which alerts you if the heater becomes too hot. So if you are not concerned with aesthetics or safety, roll the dice & purchase this heater!!!!

It works but with a few hiccups
I live in a small studio condo with not enough either insulation or a small electric baseboard heater. Comfort Zone Milkhouse heater to the rescue. It took a while for it to get going, I was already thinking about a return when the heat started blowing. Yesss!! It works perfectly, heating up my small quarters. P.S. I don't worry about the electrical bill because all utilities are included in the monthly condo fee. Back to the heater. It has good features and not so good ones. I will begin with the good part. Overheat protection and tip-over protection. When I first set up my new milkhouse heater, I picked it up to look at the Cauton button, which is when the heater stopped working but started again once I set it on the floor. I decided not to attach the handle because I don't intend to carry it around. Attaching the handle is easy, all you need is a flat screwdriver and 2 screws that are already in. Maybe will attach when I am in the mood. BUT. This heater is equipped with a 2-prong ever so slightly polarized plug. I am no electrician but am aware that everything nowadays has 3-prong plugs. All my antennae went up and I started researching which yielded a confirmation that a 2-prong plug is not safe. It lacks a grounding prong crucial for safety. I have ended up unplugging it when not in use as per instructions. Both the plug and the cord get pretty warm when in use, and take some time to cool down. I really don't know what to think about this. I hesitate to return the unit because I want to stay warm. One star off for that. There is another model currently on the market, Comfort Glow Milkhouse heater which is equipped with a 3-prong plug; unfortunately not offered here on Amazon. One star off for that. By the way, I have ended up paying a few $$ more supposedly as a special for the prime members. Does this make sense? Actually the prime deal translated into receiving the heater a few days earlier; I wish that it was spelled out this way rather than referring to the prime. But overall, the happy end, knock on the wood.

Very good heaters
Excellent little heaters this is under a different brand name, but it is a milk house heater and I have been using them for several years. I use these kind of heaters to heat my house during the winter time and they run pretty much 24 hours around the clock, trying to keep my house warm in the winter. They typically last me a little over two years every now and then I’ll get one that will last longer. I really like them and they really do the job. I have one in my bedroom, one in the kitchen and one in the living room and when it’s really cold, I put one in the bathroom.
