excellent!
I love this - truly one of my best garden buys. It delivers the full 11 gallons a minute as advertised, yet the water comes out so soft you can water seedlings with no problems. It makes watering all my pots and plots simple and fast.

Quality, made in USA
My purchase of this product comes under the heading of, "If only I had bought this first!" Unfortunately I didn't, so I had a little adventure before I got to this product: I was buying local, but the local store only had cheap imported stuff. Well, I picked out some sturdy-looking cast aluminum water heads and bought them. They were okay for a while, but I discovered one day, to my chagrin, that I couldn't get them off the hose, not even with a wrench. That's right, folks, they had welded themselves onto the hose. I had to take my garden hose (expensive) and clamp the end of it in a vise and then tighten the vise until it actually cracked the water head into pieces, to get it off my garden hose. Wow. I discovered that the "aluminum" water head was eroding in some weird way so that it had actually caked into the threads of the hose and set up in there so hard that I had to use a wire brush to get the stuff out. It had also completely ruined the rubber o-ring washer. Strangest metal I ever saw. I resolved then and there that I wasn't buying any more imported water heads. I had seen these Dramm nozzles advertised in a catalog catering to professional greenhouse operations and decided to buy a couple on Amazon. Wow, these are so much better. Yes, they are plastic but they are nice and sturdy and they break up the water into a much softer flow than the water heads I had even though the holes appear the same. I think these will last longer-and cause much less hassle!-than the junk I had before. Update April 2013: I deliberately left this nozzle attached to my garden hose all winter--a very cold winter, by the way--and exposed to the elements. I was delighted to find that the nozzle came right off, and went right back on again, easily. No damage, and no problems!

Nice soft but full-flow delivery of water to potted plants in greenhouse
This water breaker nozzle has standard hose threads. The housing appears to be a high-strength plastic and has survived many drops to concrete leaving the hands of students who use it. Our city-supply water is high in hardness and the stainless steel screen in this nozzle has not clogged up with calcium deposits so far. It also has not corroded to nothing as has happened to aluminum based water breaker screens we have had from the same manufacturer. This breaker also has more holes in the screen than any we have had before and this results in a full-flow of water with a very fine soft-spray delivery. Watering goes faster with this nozzle and with much less plant movement, and no loss of soil from the pots. I really like this nozzle for durability and performance in the greenhouse!

HI VOLUME LOW PRESSURE - Perfect and Aawesome for my purpose.
This is the best thing to happen to watering since the water hose. I often water in the morning before work so I am in a light hurry but want them to have enough water in a short amount of time. I've tried all kinds of sprayers. All of would either blast the dirt at higher volumes or go way too slowly on mist mode. I don't know if it actually has 100 holes but it might. I'm not going to try counting them. What I do know is that I can have the water flowing full blast and there is a gentle shower that does not disturb the dirt. I can water MUCH faster and still be sure the plants are getting enough water. Get one! Also get one of these: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000A4XS0K so that you can turn off the water while at the end of the hose. The valve I linked does not slow down the water flow from my hose either. The title of this review sums it up nicely.

Great gentle but fast water flow
I got this to water my succulents and other potted plants. I love it because it flows a LOT of water and quickly, without washing away the soil with force. It truly is a gentle shower, but I don't have to stand there a long time waiting for enough water to come out. I can water my plants gently AND quickly, which you don't get from any other hose fitting I've tried so far. I think it's gentler at full blast than partially open because when only partially open, the topmost holes aren't used as much and the water doesn't flow evenly through the holes. The only negative thing I can say about this is it's all plastic except the part where water comes out, so there is the danger of it breaking if it's dropped. They did try to counter this by making a rubber ring around the plastic for some protection, but I can't imagine it lasting forever.

Great for all gardens
This Nozzle was recommended by a flower farm owner and it's been perfect for my flower garden. I've been using it for months and it still looks and works as good a new.

Works great clogs easily
This thing works beautifully but I have no idea how tiny grit and particles get stuck inside and cause blocked holes. It feels super super gentle on your hand as far as stream but it will still flatten things like young carrots, corn, herbs etc (no permanent damage, they come right back up). I really like this and paired it with Dramm 12353 Heavy-Duty Brass Shut-Off Valve and it makes for easy no mess use and switching between nozzles. I've accidentally dropped this thing and smacked it on wood, brick, and concrete and it shows no wear no cracks etc. The only thing I don't like is the tiniest debris causes blockages forming big dripping streams instead of gentle spray spots.

worth every penny!
it’s a very nice nozzle and the pressure is nice. It’s like an overflowing rain flowing from the nozzle onto the plants. It doesn’t damage them. It just look like beautiful gentle rain. 🌧️
