This is perfect for a 5-hour float down the river! Only slight complaint is that the surface can get very hot to the touch! You must splash water on it once in a while and/or take towels to sit on. Overall, this is a great deal though. It's called a 3-person raft, but truthfully, it's very, very comfortable with 2 persons inside for a somewhat long period of time. Loading and unloading from any vehicle was super easy. We chose to have it inflated prior to getting to the river. That way we could use an electric air pump vs. the foot-pump, which probably would've taken all day just to inflate the raft. We wouldn't have had time to float at all. Lol. But even inflated, the raft fits in all kinds of vehicles.

The raft was purchased for recreational use. My boyfriend and I had perfect opportunity to take it out on lake and go fishing. Opened out of box. Raft was strong n sturdy. Very durable. First chance out. We were so excited to spend the day on the lake. Got out to the middle of the lake. The first oar handle snapped and broke in hand. We had to use the remaining one to get back to shore. In route to shore and the second on broke.To say we were disappointed, is an understatement. This was the first purchase from amazon that I've been so disappointed with.

Overall the boat is worth the price. We tried out our new boat today and had an ok experience. I will say that unless you are very physically fit or are rowing a couple hundred pounds or less, you probably should look into the trolling motor option for the most enjoyment. A moderately fit person with good upper body strength, rowing about 400 pounds was quite a struggle. The boat itself was sturdy and well built. The paddles seem kind of small for the raft size. The bag was in shreds when we tried to return the boat to it after use. Both zippers broke, and the bag literally ripped to pieces. Unimpressed with that. Our Intex kayak bags are great and give us no trouble at all. Bestway has some improvement to make there.

I bought a "used like new" for a steal for my son's 18th birthday gift. There is an island in the lake where we celebrate his birthday and the year prior the boys ran back to town to hit Walmart for an air mattress. I wanted them to have a proper boat for the weekend. For the price I was just hoping it wouldn't take a few hours to inflate and die midway out to the island. I was preparing for the 5 boys (again 18 year olds) having to make multiple trips to get all 5 of them out to the island. Well, it took less than 15 min for them to get the thing inflated and all 5 of them rowed out, in jeans, and stayed dry the whole voyage. The boat even survived the weekend, was dried, deflated and packed away...I imagine it will gets lots of use as he goes off to college.

Don't take a chance on a used one. I bought one in "Used - very good condition'. Boat was still wet & dirty from previous users. Also had a large obvious hole that could be seen even before inflating. It had to have been returned, and sent back out as is. There is no way someone even looked at it. So disappointed with Amazon. I was willing to work with all this and repair the hole but when inflated there were multiple holes & deflated in less than an hour. I believe this is more of an Amazon customer service issue then actual product or company error. The Boat itself was very impressive, with great 57 inch oars. Mine didn't come with inflatable seats. It's on picture but not on list of items on side of box. This was the voyager x3 model.

Bestway does a good job. This is a very low-end boat, so it is not rigid. But, the Sailboats To Go sail kit fits it and you oculd have a lot of fund with it that way.
