Works flawlessly with Livestream Studio
We capture our switched SDI to Livestream Studio to stream out. After a couple of boxes from a brand that sounds like "Rack Tragic", I decided to try something else. The Mac saw it without drivers, and it just showed up as an input to add in LSS. So painless, and so far works perfectly. Yes, I'd buy it again.

Great device for streaming SDI video with analog audio
Using the UC2018 to stream SDI video and Analog audio to Zoom / Teams meetings, & OBS sessions. Very satisfied with the quality of the media stream. NOTE: My usage requires stereo analog audio and the UC2018 does a good job of that via a stereo 1/8" jack. The device appears to support SDI embedded audio if nothing is plugged into the 1/8" jack.

This capture card is IMO the best option for the price for an SDI capture card. Doesn't overheat too much, rock solid in OBS and Vmix for streaming. Highly recommend.

Funziona correttamente anche con segnale interlacciato di una telecamera professionale con uscita SDI. E' alimentato dalla porta USB-C, e forniscono un solo cavo USB-C/USB-A per cui bisogna procurarsene uno USB-C/USB-C se si lavora con un MacBook Pro recente e non si vogliono utilizzare hub. MacOS lo riconosce senza problemi, e la fonte viene vista da OBS Studio. Prodotto veramente valido a prezzo molto competitivo rispetto ad altri prodotti della concorrenza. Prodotti più economici riconoscono solo il 1080p e non 1080 che è lo standard nelle produzioni broadcast. Struttura in metallo molto solida. Comoda anche la porta HDMI e ingresso audio mini jack indipendente. Spedizione veloce, anche se il venditore non mi ha risposto in merito al calcolo dell'iva per un prodotto venduto fuori dall'Italia. Per partite iva italiane viene applicato il "reverse charge" sull'IVA che va versata separatamente. L'ho scoperto solo dopo l'acquisto.

Using those for a while now. Works pretty well, out of the box, no drivers needed, great picture and sound quality and really good price point. Also the audio Input is really nice. My only issue is with SDI input, you can input 59,94 or 60fps but it's outputting in 30fps in OBS, no matter what I do, which is frustratring, HDMI is able to output 59,94 or 60ps just fine though.
