I have a decent collection of Hi Fi gear, from vintage Yamaha, NAD, and Klipsch, to Primare and Definitive Technology. It can get a little complicated when you just want to "turn it on and listen to background music." My wife needed something simple to satisfy that requirement. And this unit does it in spades! Connectivity with this unit is a non-issue: turn it on, pair it with your device, and play--you do not need an app to get it up and running. The controls could not be more simple: there are six in all, but the volume, and maybe the bass and treble are all you will really need. And now there is the quality, WOW! The look and feel of quality on this unit is beyond ANYTHING that I have spent a mere $300.00 on! And that quality extends into the sound. Sound is so subjective that I am not even going to try to describe it, except to say that it is BIG, CLEAR, and DETAILED. I have never heard anything like this at this price point. We have a small house (1300sqft), and this thing fills it well. My wife loves it! Just a point that I must mention, but that in absolutely no-way reflects on the quality and value of this unit: they (Marshall) claims that this unit produces a wider sound stage than its predecessor. And while it might do just that, I have never heard the previous model for comparison. While I can state from first-hand experience that the sound is HUGE, especially when one considers its size, I cannot say that a full stereo sound-stage has been achieved. With that said, this unit is PERFECT for anyone who wants incredibly simple ease-of-use, HUGE sound, beautiful retro looks with all the modern tech you need--and that won't break the bank--well, this is it.

Quality built great sound very handsome in any room wish it got a bit louder for loud parties

This thing is awesome. It looks cool sitting on the desk top, and the sound is luscious... no other word for it. Compared to my smaller beats pill - well there really isn't any comparison. It's well worth the cost and a perfect size/shape for a desktop/office application. I have it connected to the computer and playing Spotify playlists all day while working. It's an amazing addition to any room. I can't say enough good about this speaker. A home run.

Premium packaging from Marshall, speaker comes very protected with all its manuals and cable. Speaker itself is plug and go, very easy to use. It does prompt you to download the Marshall app and connect to the speaker in case there’s a hardware update which is done by the air. Feels very premium and the sound is one of the best in the industry, works incredibly well!

I really like this speaker. I used it straight out the box. I have a Soundcore Motion Boom Plus which is also a great speaker, but I wanted something kinda stylish for my bedroom. I am very pleased with the cream colored leather aesthetic, and the old school switch and knobs are cool. My 12 year old daughter couldn't even figure out the switch which made me realize how many electronics have boring flat buttons now Lastly this speaker gets loud but retains its great sound quality. It isn't portable as it has a cord, so its more of the older style furniture speaker than something you can charge and take with you like the other speaker I mentioned.

Absolutely love this thing. My step-dad has the acton and I've been eyeing a marshall speaker for a while. Almost got this three years ago but got the jbl authentics 500 instead. I love the tactical feeling of the buttons the look and my friend asks if he can plug his guitar into it. Connecting Bluetooth was quick and easy. For how small it is it packs a punch. Amazing sound although I've only had it for a week. It's heavy to me taking it out of the box. But everything is crisp and high detail anything from classic rock to newer stuff. I love that it doesn't have a battery and I can just come home from work and blast tunes. The other thing I like no smart assistants leaving you in full control of your music. The aesthetic is really cool the gold marshall on the front to the switches. I also enjoy the power off and on so I can turn it off unlike my jbl.

My first blue tooth speaker was a Bose unit. I've had good luck with Bose products in the past but that all changed when I bought their speaker. Nice in it's appearance but that's all I can say about it. I downloaded the Bose phone app which also turned out to be a joke. Nothing on the damn thing except a lot of Mickey Mouse bull,. that didn't help. As far as paring went I got it to pair just once that's it. When I did have it paired it had not much more volume than my speaker on my phone has! Imagine that? I have some hearing loss so I bought it for that. Ok the Marshall Stanmore III was a whole different deal. I downloaded their ap and it all went pretty well. Their ap isn't anything to write home about either. But it does have some troubleshooting suggestions along with an owner's manual. I couldn't get it to play the audio on my desktop (Windows 10) My desk top is an older computer so maybe that's part of the problem? It pairs up easily with my Samsung TV and my Samsung phone. However I can't get the phone's audio to play thru the speaker? I don't know what's up with that? The sound is the best part. Lots of bass and treble. The knobs on it remind me of my Marshall amplifier. This speaker has enough volume in it to drive you out of the room although I didn't crank it up that high. Adding it to my Samsung QL60 TV made a very nice addition to it. The cheesy speakers on the TV are awful. I think I may also add the Marshall Woburn III speaker to my collection. That thing is just awesome. I didn't want to spend the money on Marsha;;s version of a blue tooth speaker until I liked it. I think I'll keep this one, theres some things I wish I could get working on it such as the lack of phone conversation (the speaker phone just plays on the phone when I try. It plays music from my phone just fine. I think Marshall has a great series of speakers now and it's about time someone made and easy and great sounding blue tooth speaker. Would I recommend this to my friends? Yes

Hands down the best speaker I own. Great bass and LOUD. Easy to connect as well. Recommend!

Good quality sounds

Excelente produto. A caixa é multifuncional e lógico, decorativa. Não é a potência sonora que derruba um prédio, mas se essa não é a proposta, pode comprar sem medo. Uso tanto a função Bluetooth, quanto a entrada RCA. Ótimo som.

En lo personal no soy un experto en sonido, le comenté a mi nieto que pensaba cambiar un radio de hace más de 30 años, el me recomendó Marshall, tomé en cuenta su sugerencia y compré ésta Stanmore III... y me sorprendió tiene un sonido excelente, de alta fidelidad, el modelo retro de increíble calidad, conexión a Bluetooth sin problema, traé su manual en 36 idiomas. I¡¡ IMPRESIONANTE !! El servicio de Amazon excelente. 👍

Do yourself a favour and don't buy this brand-new on Amazon; chances are they will send you box that's clearly been opened (manufacturer's box no less, even though i requested double boxing) and, more egregiously, one with a speaker that has a fairly noticeable scratch to the back of the fragile leatherette exterior. Luckily the quality is top-notch and the sound is as expected.
