Review: Does the job! - Oh, man, this thing was just what I needed for my portable Xbox, so I could store my external hard drive directly on the unit. Works great and keeps its elasticity. I noticed after a few months that the adhesive was loosening up a little bit around the corners, but that's probably my fault for keeping a big drive in the pouch since receiving it. However, it's still very snug, and still very attached. And at this price, if it failed down the road, I'd be happy to purchase another. Good buy; quite happy.

**Q: Can this be mounted if the macbook pro 14" has a protective case on it?**
A: Slipdrive’s 3m adhesive works with most materials! You shouldn’t have an issue!

**Q: Do you make a smaller version of this? I have a Samsung T7 which is much smaller than this**
A: Hi! Slipdrive (Size Small) was designed specifically to fit the Samsung T7. Anything smaller would not fit the T7.

**Q: Is the glue on this item permanent? or is it easy to remove and reuse if needed?**
A: We use 3M adhesive which is reusable and will not leave residue. Note that after applying and removing the Slipdrive multiple times the adhesive will lose its stickyness.

**Q: Will the damage the paint on the Macbook?  I find that any adhesive left on for years will always damage the materials.**
A: I've had mine on for just under a year. I peeled it up a little bit and it does not appear to have damaged the finish on my 14" macbook pro.

I purchased this to carry a large external SSD in, and so far it seems to well well! It's easy to apply and seems to stick well to my laptop (without being too sticky), and the soft fabric stretches enough to fit the drive well but holds it snug as well!
