Good quality and sturdy
Perfect for the job.. used them on double doors across my daughter’s drive with a length of 4x2. Doors now feel rock solid.

Installed but does not fit a 2x4
I bought it to keep the gate closed because my dogs slam up against the gate and is able to escape! I had to notch out the 2x4 to get it to fit cuz after getting It installed I was not removing it

Much better swinging door security with these brackets
I have a two-door swinging gate to my backyard and I have never liked it because it is too easy for someone to push through the flimsy locking hardware securing the gate. I got these brackets so I could add a 2X4 across both doors and make it more difficult to break through the gate. Installation took about 2 minutes and the 2X4 fits perfectly. The brackets themselves are heavy-duty steel and there's no way they will ever get bent by someone trying to push through the gate. I should have done this long ago.

Solid
Thick gauge metal, super solid , I did however end up using my own screws . The ones that came in package were just to short for my liking. Needs to be longer. Other than that great product.

I bought these but have not used them yetI’m sure they will do the job because they are very sturdy and come with directions
