Perfect for auction animal
Works great for goats as well! We have 4-H auction goats and this works great for the hanging scale we bought so we can track their weight!

Not recommended for goats
Updated: seller contacted us and was very accommodating to the issue and made things right for us. Giving them 5 stars for being so quick to respond and address the issue. Purchased to help me lift a 100lb Nubian goat that had become paralyzed and this sling absolutely did not work for lifting. The sling was too short under her carriage and would roll up under the belly and would not stay stretched, even with the front and back straps. Could not use it. waste of money for us but product is durable and would work better on smaller animals

Get this, you won't regret it!
Bought this to weigh ours lambs at birth thru weaning. And again before the sales. So we have ideas on weights, so we don't get cheated. It has worked well for us!

Disappointing
The stitching on the straps didn’t even last through weighing three calves. The harness was not high enough to hold them in either. No weight limit was listed but it wasn’t what we hoped.

May work okay, but not as pictured
The sling looks like it will be fine for weighing an older lamb - but way too big for a newborn. It may work if it's scrunched together? or like a hammock to lay the lamb in it? Not what I expected from the picture, but may work anyway. Will find out a few weeks when lambs start arriving.
