Did a great job for 5/8 inch ground rod. No issues driving it the full 8 feet
Based upon earlier reviews of the 5/8th inch Rod Driver that got stuck on the 5/8th inch ground rod, I went with this 3/4 inch driver for my 5/8 inch ground rod. Sure the fit was not surgical, but it's a ground rod. I was able to drive my 5/8th inch rod the full 8 feet with little issue with my Milwaukee SDS Plus D-Handle Rotary Hammer (2713-20).The end of the ground rod was good, no mushrooming. The was a noticeable impression ring from the end of this tool on the ground rod, but again, it is a ground rod. This ring was light with no significant penetration into the ground rod. The tool held up with no damage.I would recommend it.

Fit well on a 3/4" rod and looked well made. Fit well into the tool. Not sure we needed it as was able to stick the rod into the ground by hand about 6 feet, but used the tool to get the rest of way without sweat. Did not do any damage to rod.

nice and sturdy feeling, not cheep
we used it to drive grounding rods and rebar with a hammer drill. Works great. our rod was only 5/8" but decided to get the 3/4 to make sure it would fit without trouble.

SDS-PLUS!!!!
Perfect for my needs, also to find in SDS plus rather than SDS Max was a home run!! Price was awesome and same day shipping was less than the standard 2 - day.! Just awesome purchase all the way around!!

Bought three for fellow concrete carpenters!
AMAZING product. drives 3/4" dpins like noones business! looking for one in 1" for sds+... Hell with slingin that sledge all day to set 30 panels. Leave work less exhausted and not hurting count me in. if it breaks, ill buy it over and over.. *** note *** if your pins are mushroomed make SURE to cut the end off or they WILL get stuck and youll need to heat the driver up to release the pin... i needed to use a torch and bench vice

Drove that 8ft ground rod with my SDS Rotory Hammer Drill (Harbor Freight no less) like I was John Henry,Lawd, Lawd!

Drive that ground rod
I really wanted to give this a 5 star but this isn't a great way to drive ground rods. Took me a long time to drive the rod but at least it was a safe way to do it. I over sized the driver to the ground rod being driven so it didn't get stuck onto the rod. The rod didn't mushroom out so the clamp still went on good. It was only one rod into soil and sand so the bit didn't deform into my tool chuck. Only time will tell. If I could do it again, I'd suck it up and but sds max system. The sds-max driver is much heavier than this galaxy one
