There is no reference to it being safe for color treated hair on the bottle or in any of the info online. Aside from that, the shampoo is an okay product. The conditioner is on heavy side even using less. The pumps on each bottle lock in an offset way permanently after just a few uses so for anyone ordering I'd suggest first emptying product into separate bottles or pump bottles to avoid that issue. **Q: Does the volume shampoo also help with moisturizing the hair?** A: Yes my hair is colored and it helps with splitting and adds volume.
