I love the supplements by Standard Process. The natural sources used create a quality that is always incredible. This specific GI Absorb supplement helped my gut heal when I was dealing with some digestive issues. Now I keep it on hand for when I have stomach issues.

I am very selective about my supplements: before I buy anything I research it for a while. These were recommended by chiropractor/nutritionist, took them for a couple of months . Eliminated a lot of gas and I noticed couple other benefits . Glad that Amazon has this in stock.

Another new-to-me supplenent.This is a very unique product. I had little info about G-Pur, so I went looking. What I found astounded me. G-Pur is a patented form of a zeolite designed to absorb heavy metals and toxins from the GI tract before they can be absorbed into the body. That's all good as far as a claim goes, but this needs proof.After animal studies were done, a clinical human trial entitled "G-PUR® for Reduced Lead Bioavailability" was conducted. The results were published in 2021 under the title "Concomitant oral intake of purified clinoptilolite tuff (G-PUR) reduces enteral lead uptake in healthy humans". The results state this was 90% of an amount of ingested lead at the upper safe limit for drinking water. Because of ethical considerations, they could go no higher in humans, but did state in animal trials with much larger doses of ingested lead, absorption was 50%. I will need to figure out how to incorporate this into my regime as I eat 1 to 2 meals a day most days, and this needs to be taken alone (no other supplements) with a meal.Something to note: This provides a hefty dose of iron. 50% of an adult ADA, so the warning of iron poisoning on the label if ingested by children is quite important and serious.

Make sure to take this BEFORE A MEAL and with a full glass of water.I believe this product to be one of the very best on the market for detoxing the digestive tract. I've used products from the Standard Process brand for many years. My chiropractor always recommends them as the best professional quality supplements, so when I decided to try this GI Adsorb product, I already had high expectations. I am happy to report that this product worked exactly as expected for me. I usually have digestion issues when traveling, so I brought this supplement with me and was more than happy with the results. I even took less than four capsules at times (as it seemed a bit excessive, and I was afraid it would ruin my day if the dosage was too high). I even mixed it with other (non-digestion-related) supplements and still saw very positive results. I am not a biochemist and don't have an opinion about all of the ingredients, but based on my personal experience, I recommend this supplement to anyone looking to improve the function of their digestion system. The price may seem a bit high, but keep in mind this is a professional-grade supplement from a highly reputable brand, and in my opinion, it's totally worth it.

I had some issues trying to get the timing right on taking this product, as you are not supposed to take it with other supplements, but the directions say to take it before a meal. I eat one main meal a day, and I take a lot of pre/probiotics, so I couldn't figure out how to take this without nullifying the other supplements that I was taking with food. I didn't realize the conflict until after I had ordered it, which is unfortunate as this seems like a really good product.
