I like the different colors, though the purple should be lighter since it is almost black. Also, the seal of the black lid doesn't completely fill the opening. I bought leak proof replacement lids from Amazon, but they have finally been wearing out after several years of use and abuse, so I came back here and discovered these. The first set of replacement lids couldn’t fit straws, so I was excited that these can. The lucite base seems very sturdy. I’m not sure yet if the plastic tab will be as sturdy as on the last cups, though. They look more light weight, although not completely flimsy. The rubber seal on the straw hole looks good. It can be popped out and back in, and still remain tight, but it’s my biggest concern for keeping clean. The lids fit onto our 20oz cups very well. My 12yo daughter did notice hers leaking a little on the first use, but she didn’t seem to have had it fully latched shut. I have tested one of the others, and it is nice and tight. Even if the plastic tab should happen to come open, though, the lid does a good job of slowing down the flow of liquids so that the spill will be much smaller than from a standard non-leak proof lid.
