I use this in our sign shop
I've not purchased this through amazon but I use it regularly in our sign shop. I just happened to come across it here while searching for something else, only saw a few reviews and thought I'd put my two cents in. This stuff is pretty strong! I've mic'd it out and it is .0152" (1/64") thick and very durable. You must CUT the tape because you can't possibly tear it. The adhesive isn't going to release under any NORMAL circumstances (though I'd clean any surface thoroughly). I also use it to make my own hangers for images mounted on gatorboard. *wink*) FOR ITS INTENDED PURPOSE you can't find a better tape. So ignore any naysayers. Cheers!

This tape is awesome to reinforce vinyl banners. Note it is not double sided tape. Put this tape along edges and it stops curling and reinforce corners where you put grommets.

I purchased this tape to reinforce my flag and the tape did not hold up in the wind. I found pieces of the tape on the ground that blew off. I wish I had purchased the double sided tape instead.
