I've worn them for years. Yes, they're just made of string. Yes, they burn the ends and the knots to melt them so they don't come undone. But I really love how they look and feel and the money goes to a good cause. They're very durable bracelets, too. They do come coated in wax, which makes them a bit sticky at first, but that washes off after a couple of showers. After that, they're very soft string. I bought this one to replace the very first one I bought a few years ago. That's how long it's lasted. The only thing I don't like about the design is that the logo tag slowly cuts through the adjustment string it's on and eventually breaks it. They'd last forever if it weren't for the tag.
