Very Nice- Still sharp After 3 Years
This is a very nice manual colored pencil sharpener. It is just like what is pictured. It has a solid white color, which is nice if you like white & light-colored appliances like me. It's easy to use and after 3+ years, it still sharpens colored pencils well!Very easy to use & you don't have to worry about electric outages as you would if using an electric sharpener because it's completely manual. You dont have to worry about ever cleaning the blades, as long as you dont use crayons (will explain later). It has a nicely sized plastic box that holds the shavings and you just pull it out to dispense the shavings and put it back when emptied. The only issue I had is that it would have been nice if they designed the plastic container that holds the wood shavings with a 'covered top', as that part is exposed when you pull out the top part to sharpen your pencils, and wood shavings/dust can come out while sharpening. So my solution was to put tape around that top plastic part (as u can see in the 1st & 2nd pictures) and that solved this issue! My pencils get sharpened without any spilling of dust or wood shavings! And I haven't had to change the tape since I applied it and it's been 3 years now!As you can see in the 1st & 2nd pics, any dust/shavings just get stuck onto the underside of the tape instead of on your bed, desk or wherever you sharpen your pencils! So, I highly suggest the tape as shown in my pics, as that will prevent any dust/shavings from spilling out while sharpening your pencils.NOT FOR USE ON CRAYONS:It works well for all regular sized colored pencils- wood, woodless, and even watercolor pencils, but NOT on Crayons (see 3rd pic).I made the mistake once of trying to sharpen Crayola Crayons and all the wax from the crayons got stuck in the blades and did not even sharpen them, and it would no longer sharpen my colored pencils. I thought it was ruined until I took it apart and carefully had to use a sharp object, like a needle to remove all the crayon wax that got stuck in the dents of the blades (see last pic). It was difficult and time consuming to remove all the crayon wax stuck on the blades, but I managed to clean it well and it worked as good as new again!

An incredibly efficient sharpener
Most pencil sharpeners grind for as long as you let them. This one grips the wood, you turn the handle and can tell immediately when enough is enough. What an enlightened sharpening experience!!

Works great!
It sharpens my Prismacolors and Inktense pencils beautifully. They are sturdy despite being daggers when finished. I was worried that I would have issues holding down the sharpener while using it, but there was super low tension needed and my arthritis was not bothered. You don’t need to press it down, but instead just hold it steady.

It's a good pencil sharpener
I'd be lying to you if I told you I didn't by this solely because it was made by MUJI. MUJI normally has some good quality, super functional items, and this is just that. Makes unnecessarily sharp pencils. It doesn't suction, so you have to hold it down while you sharpen. The thickest width for a pencil is standard, so if you have other types it wont work.

Sharpens really well
I love this little sharpener. It does a great job with all of my pencils colored pencils, soft pencils, Hard pencils. They get a nice point it doesn’t grind too much light off or color off. It took me a little bit of time to figure out the best way to use it for all my different pencils but once I got on, it worked well.

Where have you been all my life?
I love this pencil sharpener. It’s inexpensive, good quality, and sharpens my expensive art pencils perfectly. This might sound ridiculous, but I actually look forward to sharpening my pencils now because it does the job so well. Definitely worth the investment!

Cute pencil sharpener, works great!
This is a very cute, simple manual pencil sharpener. It's nice and small so it doesn't take up much space. It works great, too. Before, the lead of the pencils often broke while I was writing, but since I use this pencil sharpener, that stopped. I'm glad I purchased this. I'm a big fan of MUJI products.

Not good
I was only able to sharpen one #2 pencil before it got jammed- I cleared the jam only for it to jam again. The housing is flimsy and so is the crank- I wouldn’t recommend
