This would make a really fun stocking stuffer! My son is 3.5 and loves all of the magic grow toys he’s gotten in the past. Last year, Santa brought him a crocodile that grew to be humongous. He has sensory needs and is autistic, so squishy toys like this are a huge hit. It did take a long time to get to full size, but he loved watching it expand along the way. In the end, it kinda reminded me of an old school kush ball!! As another reviewer stated, it didn’t retain its biggest size for very long. Within a few hours it had shrunken down about 35-40%.It was still a lot of fun regardless of how big it was, and looks like it’ll hold up for a while! I know the crocodile he got last year is still larger than it was prior to putting it in water, but only 25% of the size it was after growing. Not sure if you could submerge them in water again…?Highly recommend anything by this company! Hope this helps. 😉

My 4 yo LOVES these and goes crazy getting excited to see how much they will grow. Only downside is they tear VERY easily so DO NOT stretch them yourself and be very careful when they get to max size. You can easily see how cheaply these are made and while he had fun he was very disappointed and I had to buy 2 more to make sure they didn’t rip.

We saw a small split but thought it would still be okay. One has a hole and the other is already splitting. They didn't even get played with yet. How do I return when they are full of water. I do not want to be charged twice.

I received a defective product.

The packaging on these is great. The presentation makes them look so cool. After that, there really isn't much to it. Throw it in water and watch it grow. Little kids like that I guess but only certain kids will stay interested, I think. Regardless, it is exactly as advertised and a nice toy.

These magical "chonk-e" toys are almsot great. They are very cute, and have a surprisingly pleasant scent. They grow rapidly when placed in water, and the dramatic size increase is very noticeable! These are a lot of fun, and a terrific upgrade/advancement in growing toys. However, there is some weakness in the seams around the bottom plug/cover. After about a week of being inflated and handled, but not really "played with," the bottom of the dinosaur ripped open, exposing the odd jelly-like interior. The interior is encased in fabric (You can sometimes see the seam of the fabric through the animals' exterior skin.) but with this big opening, some of the gel does seep out and can make a mess.

This is okay. It does grow. But definitely not to a crazy size like shown in the pictures. It has some squishiness but it's just not that great.It has some pretty crazy warnings about throwing away the water and washing your hands - so not sure what's in this thing. It was fun to make it grow and see that it was bigger than the plastic bubble package that it came in. But afterwards, it's just not that great. It feels like it has a jello type substance inside. And the outside is soft with little the little spikes.But after growing it, not really much to do with it. I feel like it will get thrown out soon and it's probably just not a good toy for the environment.

As pictured. The kids love anything squishy right now. (4 and 7yrs old) add water and it’s a hit ! I wasn’t expecting a grand transformation but these do expand and kids love them! I’m guessing they are filled with something similar to water beads. You can feel the hard beads before they are put in the water. They have been playing with them and haven’t destroyed them yet, so I’m a happy mama! Hope this helps, great for a rainy day, or a birthday gift!
