My husband was skeptical as he was used to using scissors to trim nose/ear hair. He was nervous this might hurt a little. It does not at all. It's very light weight and easy to use without any pulling or anything. My teenage son loves it as well. They like that it's easy to clean by simply removing the head. I asked most likely a little too loudly why does he have a mustache in his ear. I remember that story each time i reach for my nose and ear hair trimmer...some how i think karma is returning in some small measure of retribution. That said my ear and nose hair isn’t horrible, but annoying. With little or no research i bought a norelco groomer with multiple attachment one of which trimmed nose and ear hairs. This worked fine until the attachment quit working. So then with little or no research i bought a Wahl dedicated trimmer. It worked for a little while but now spins so slowly it deals more like battery operated tweezers when it gets a hair...it also has a bad habit of missing the hair somehow. So I just use some scissors, but trying to cut ear hairs looking in the mirror is time consuming and often leads to imperfect results. So i finally started to look at amazon, I read multiple reviews on multiple products. I decided to go with a dedicated trimmer and so narrowed my search, sorted by rating and looked at some other factors i selected this trimmer and it arrived today. Ok i have to confess i have only used the trimmer once, but I have never had such an easy, effective time trimming these hairs.The trimmer moves fast and actually seems to attract the hair if that’s possible. The results speak for themselves...no single hairs that seemingly grow inches per day, no arrangement of flower stems eminating from my ear canals 🙂.
