Rack Mount Kit Universal Adjustable 19 Inch Rack Ears for HP/ProCurve/Aruba/OfficeConnect/HPE and Other Switches

Most reviewers don't say what they used this on, so here you go: I used it on an HP Aruba 2530-48G PoE+ Switch (J9772A) that I bought used without any of the accoutrements. Incidentally, I've handled more than my fair share of HP switches (ProCurve and Aruba) and I'm pretty confident that these were designed for those kinds of switches. The holes matched up perfect, the screws to attach the brackets to the unit were perfectly sized (P2 Philips head) and went in smooth. But the screws for mounting to my rack were too fat for my setup. This was not a problem for me because I have a surplus of screws designed for my rack, which has static holes, NOT squares (the included rack mounting screws were for square rack rails and they include the appropriate square nuts that give us all injury-anxiety you set out to remove them). To be sure, if I had a square rack rail-hole system, they would've worked great. Some commenters lamented that the ears are too wide. In my case, they protruded about 1/16th of an inch wider on each side than the TRENDnet patch bay units flanking above and below. This also wasn't a problem for me, but beware if you have tight tolerances in your setup. Overall, I think these are perfect for anyone who needs to mount an HP Aruba switch and doesn't have the original gear.

I used these to rack mount some old Zebra EX3500 (EX3524 and EX3548) Series POE Switches. Fit Great! Worked Perfectly for my needs.

What's more to say? Good quality, fits perfect, and came with a nice assortment of screws for what I assume are various applications. Well done.

The mounting screws were far too short based on the thickness of the ears themselves. I had to substitute longer M3 screws on the side mounts. The rack mount screws were fine however and overall the quality was acceptable.

I ordered two of these, and the screws for both were about a quarter inch too short. Not a huge problem. I went down to a hardware store and bought a set of screws that were a quarter inch longer. I highly recommend.

Like the title, does not work for Ubiquiti Dream Machine Pro router. I even used some other methods to enlarge the holes (outside of hand filing) and could not make the holes match up. No where on this item listing states it works for it, but I would do EVERYONE a favor. Does not work. The short screws DO work.

I used these on an HP-2530 switch that I bought used and was missing a rack ear. These brackets fit perfectly and have held strong without flexing or sliding.

Bough this thinking it would work for my HPE Router unfortunately the slots doesn’t align. The screws provided is uselessly short. I don’t recommend this product.
