This AC is no joke, it cools the room fast and the features are amazing. The remote is also good and I love the Alexa connectivity. It’s important to have an AC that not only cools quickly but can also be adjust room temp quick as well. If it’s too cold and you lower the temp, you’ll feel the difference in the room immediately. All settings are straight forward and the features are all easy to understand. The app is great and easy to use and can and will allow to link other AC’s in the house. The Alexa app is also straight forward with easy controls. My only complain with this is that the remote and the AC do not link… so for example if you manually set the AC to a setting and then later reach for your remote. Those setting won’t be on the remote so you’ll have to set it twice per say, not a deal breaker but just wish it was more synced. Installation was also easy and I did it by myself. Highly recommended for anyone looking for an AC it to upgrade your AC

We have purchased many Friedrich ACs over the years but this Model was a real chore to install. The instructions were awful and nowhere did it indicate that you had to release a clip in order to release chassis from the cage. When I called Friedrich for assistance, I was told to hire an HVAC professional to install a WINDOW AC!!! We finally managed after many hours with much effort. Friedrich needs to be more consumer friendly with better customer support and clearer instructions. Otherwise a quality unit hopefully will last many seasons.

Been a loyal customer of Friedrich for many years, great AC, I have one that is 10 years old and still works well but a bit noisy. This new model is superior in terms of cooling, looks, features, that includes a phone app that works great and better then a remote. I gave it 4 stars because It’s quiet but not quite as quiet as I hoped, other then that I’m very pleased with the unit.

The A/C is fine, but the unit was offered with a rebate for purchases between March 1 and August 31, 2021, according to the rebate instruction sheet.When I tried to submit the rebate on line, I got the message that the rebate was only valid to May 31, 2021.I called in, and the rep pointed out the fine print at the bottom of the instructions that said Friedrich reserves the right to change the offer, which they did - by refusing to honor the August date

I live in a 400 sf apartment and this equipment only cool the immediate area around it I have to use a box fan to help circulate the cool air. It's great at removing the humidity but not making the entire apartment cool. I don't think I will purchase anymore products from this company.
