Didn't work effectively for me....3 days later my white roots came back, same like the other brands I have been using, just that they re far much less expensive....

Comparing the price with any other product of pharmacy this one is expensive, but I highly recommend it 👌🏻 👍🏻... the formula is very good. The color mask cover perfectly the grays, blend the whole color in the rest of your hair, add lots of shine and bright, doesn't dry the scalp, doesn't smell toxic, ..so yeap i recommend it 💯. p.d. the

I have been using Madison Reed hair color for years, and it continues to be my absolute favorite at-home coloring product. The color always looks rich, natural, and salon-quality, which is something I have struggled to find with other brands. One of the biggest reasons I keep coming back to it is how well it covers gray hair without leaving my hair feeling damaged or overly dry afterward. Instead, my hair always feels soft, healthy, and conditioned after coloring. My go-to shade is Soft Black because it gives my hair a deep, beautiful color without looking harsh or unnatural. Recently, my usual shade was out of stock, so I decided to try the Cool Black-Brown instead, and I was honestly impressed with how amazing it turned out. The color blended beautifully and still gave me the polished look I expect from Madison Reed products. Overall, I am extremely happy with this purchase and highly recommend it to anyone looking for professional-looking hair color at home. Amazon occasionally offers great sales on these products, but even at full price, I truly think it is worth every penny because of the quality and results.

I have been dying my hair at home since I was 14 (I’m 36) so I’ve pretty much tried it all. I have been late to the party on Madison Reed because I just didn’t think it could possibly be all that different than any other home dye. I’m happy to say I was wrong. I’m thrilled with the results. My hair is incredibly soft and healthy, even after I lightened it first. The formula is the texture of a thick body lotion when you apply it, and it spreads very nicely and clings to every hair - there is basically no smell. My literal only complaint is I really hated the smell of the shampoo and conditioner that came with it, but that’s a small price to pay for the quality of the rest of the experience.

When applying it with provided dispenser, it either came out in thin streams or large doses. Shampoo provided did not clean my hair of the color - used it 3 times and it still was not clean. I had 2 boxes and had the same issue with the first but gave you a second chance with the second box. NOPE - same poor product. I will never use this brand again and I hope others who have had this issue will speak up.

I used the hair color kit, followed all directions and left it on longer for stubborn grays. It did not color my hair at all. My grays are still right there, zero coverage.
